(36M) I'm only one-month post-BU from a very deep 8+ year relationship. I understand I have a long road ahead. With that being said, I'm essentially lost at sea. A kite dancing in a hurricane. My chest feels like a gaping hole wind can blow through. Eating/sleeping is a chore. Hobbies have become meaningless. Weekends equally have no meaning. I live in a steady stream of emotional pain. My support system is nonexistent. I'm a software dev for a large financial software company, so I work remotely from home which also keeps me isolated. I also work close to 50 hours a week.
In losing her, the house, the animals, I've found myself with a stupid amount of free time. I downloaded Hinge and made a profile when I was on a mini high one day, and unleashed it into general pop! I'm so bored, cut me some slack. Long story long, I matched with this cute girl a few miles away and we end up going out for drinks. (I just needed some human interaction and having a cute girl give me attention sounded good in my depressed wobbly state) It was my first date in like 10+ years lol. Don't ask me how, but it went well, and I found myself on a second date 3 days later! I took her to dinner, we laughed and joked, it was fun. My depression momentarily lifted. I was me again briefly. I used the bathroom during dinner, I looked in the mirror, I was smiling. It was like seeing an old friend in the mirror.
Fast forward to the end of the date. I drove her home. We ended up making out in my car before dropping her off. I honestly didn't feel much during. It was exciting and felt good, but I'm dead inside as mentioned. What proceeded to happen thereafter I was not expecting. Kissing this girl somehow regressed me back to day one of the split with my ex. I'm not joking, it's like the entire month evaporated in nanoseconds after lip-locking this babe. I was back at the starting line. I was finally not thinking about her and our old life together when out of nowhere it was all back. Constant circular thoughts. I foolishly thought I could make the climb out of this hole, but it's way too soon. I've greatly underestimated this beast. Excuse me, back to my pain cave.
My bf and I wanna know what are the best makeout spots here in town. We're new here, so we just thought it'd be fun to know :)

SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE GAME. It bugs me you can't take Rinoa to the "Makeout Point" during your tour/date on disc 2. When you say "cafeteria. Parking lot." She says "could you try to make it more interesting? Like a real tour?" When u take her to Kadowaski, you can even say she's "my girlfriend" and "I'm serious". Yes he blows it off but kadowki says "you two are cute." When you take her to the parking lot she's like "this is it? That's all?" Or something. I always took that to mean she was like "you took me to an empty parking lot, aren't you gonna make a move??"
Then you take her to the training center and she says "I can totally see you doing this on a first DATE." So you take her back there and the Makeout Point is closed off! Yes I know the garden is mobile now so it's probably different back there. But come on! This was an opportunity lost!
I know Squall wouldn't make a serious move at this point of the plot and character arc, but I would have liked to see it. It would have been another fun and flirtatious moment. Show squall being clueless around other teens back there having alone time. The big kiss happens in very last shot, post credits... but you could set it up here. The same place where he told Quistis to talk to a wall. Maybe he opens up a little.
Or maybe she moves in for a kiss and he backs away or they get interrupted by a "squall, please head to the bridge." It would have built more of a payoff for the very last shot of the game!
Let's face it, Rinoa was pretty thirsty. She "thought it was love" with seifer. She basically throws herself at squall. She could have made a move not unlike Aerith's attempted high fives in the VII Remake.
On a side note, I just realize that like mother, like daughter, both rinoa and julia like to creepily watch over their love interest in their sleep! Julia was kind of less so but Rinoa was really creepy, and just came right into his bedroom and stared at him!

I'm planning a Goa trip with my partner. I'm into makeout/sex in the open alot. Like it turns me on so much. I wanna perform something along those lines at some secluded place in a beach in Goa, this trip. While, I know there's a major possibility of things that can go wrong, I'm extra careful as well. It's also festive time so Goa's gonna be jam-packed everywhere. But I'd still love to get touchy and dirty with my partner in some beach. The more seclude the place, the better. So, any ideas which beaches in Goa have least people coming in? Would obviously try these stuff at night. Any advice?
In A Deep Fried Thanksgiving (3x09), Jess comes up to Rory in front of Doose’s and starts making out with her (I refer to it as such because kissing doesn’t seem to cover it). Rory stops him and pulls him aside, telling him that it is too early to flaunt it. Jess disagrees but eventually acquiesces. Who do you think was right in this scenario?
Rory’s side: She and Dean only broke up only two episodes ago and it adds insult to the injury that she immediately jumped into a new relationship with the guy that Dean had been worried about the whole time. Making out in public would definitely rub salt in the wound and she wouldn’t want to knowingly hurt him. Plus, considering how they ended, she might still feel a little guilty?
Jess’ side: They have every right to kiss in public. It wouldn’t feel great to have your girlfriend want to hide your affection. He’s probably still riding the high of getting the girl and feeling a little smug about it. It makes sense that he’d want to flaunt it, although I think it is rather mean of him.
She was so nice! She made me dinner! I have a full life, she has a full life, neither of us are looking for a relationship, but we had the best nerdy conversations for a couple of hours and then made out and then I went home to my spouse and she texted me to see if I made it back okay.
I don't know if it'll last, but it was super nice.

First time poster long time lurker. Been a fan of mac since 2014, I remember hearing him for the first time in my mate's campervan on the way to hang out by a local river. Got heavily into MV after that. Since then I've always been a fan, going to concerts/keeping tabs on his latest releases.
I often think of his MV days, what if he kept going with that sound and song style? 2 defo is a progression from that (when he played Annie live in 2013 w/ Homeshake, big MV vibes) but Ying Yang hits different. That nostalgia feeling with a hint of sadness. Makes me feel of times gone by and my youth before university. I would love if he ever played any of those songs live, especially The Suns Loneliest Day or Exercising With My Demons. Does anyone know any bands with a similar sound? (Thoughts that come up everytime I listen to MV - which is what am currently doing lol)
