This was one of the last N64 games released, and started its own spin-off series: Paper Mario! It follows the same age-old story from this universe but it makes the journey memorable in its own way from the look of the game down to the writing and combat system. To think it was going to be a sequel for Super Mario RPG, yet it still come out a success despite development difficulties. Also, this was made by the people who created Fire Emblem! It's a childhood favorite among many people and I'm excited to have this as my first Mario LP! Today, we enter the mountain to begin seraching for the treasure!

So GameXplain is playing through Paper Mario a few hours each week and something happened in the previous episode of it that I didn't know about. Apparently when you are on Lavalava Island, you can ride the whale back to Toad Town. But people in the chat informed Derrick that this is "sequence breaking" and the game actually doesn't want you to go back until you beat the chapter. But why? Derrick was going to go to the sewers to use the upgrade block, but they advised him against it and to save it for later. What could have gone wrong?

Extra: There are 8 Pink coins and 3 1-up mushrooms hidden. Only those who manage to get all pink coins from the first time will get an advantage for the boss battle!
This level is inspired by Mt. Lavalava from Paper Mariotm. It's not 100% recreation, because I've changed some things as it wasn't possible to do in Mario Maker (like some puzzles and the boss). I also didn't make the very last part of the Paper Mario Stage because of block/space limit.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
