I was in my fantasy championship. Down 3 points after Sunday, only player left was Chubb. All night, I was frantic that he wouldn't cross the threshhold, or even give me a cushion in case of a fumble or negative yardage. But he did, finally, and I went to bed knowing I had won the championship by just 2.44 points.
... except I had the Buffalo Defense. Which, on Yahoo, had been noted as giving up 7-13 points. However, the DEFENSIVE SPECIAL TEAMS SAFETY had not been correctly counted against the defense.
Until this morning. When the stat correction came. Buffalo Defense lost 3 points. 2nd place finish. No Title. No Bragging Rights. Just betrayal.
Why would you do this to me, Bros? WHY? I've rooted for the Browns and Bills all season. I even laughed at Baker's Progressive Commercials. I SUPPORTED TABLE DESTRUCTION. I am ruined. I will harbor this grudge forever.
