A list of puns related to "Jonathan Demme"
Iβm just wondering, when you guys think Jonathan Demme, what movies come to mind or even what are your favorites? Iβm only sayin this because he had such a diverse filmography.
Discuss.
He loved that movie.

What are other director/movie fantasy match ups that you're sad don't exist?
His films (that we are counting which is all the ones covered by the podcast) in chronological order are:
Reading about Demme's Stop Making Sense sent me down a wormhole that led me to this: Demme (RIP) talking to Deadline about how the Princess Bride/Butch Cassidy/All the President's Men screenwriter (also RIP) called him, unsolicited, and told him to cut a lengthy sequence from Silence of the Lambs. ... keep reading on reddit β‘I remember hearing that Silence of the Lambs received criticism from the gay community for the movieβs portrayal of homosexuality and transexuality. Jonathan received much acclaim from the movie, winning many oscars. I wonder if Jonathan felt he had a duty to the LGBTQ community to make something worthy
