A list of puns related to "Incursion"
For the longest time I believed that most if not all the races the old ones created where made to fight the Cthan and the subjugated Necron race but recently some eldar players told me this was not the case. They where made to fight off early demonic incursions in the web way, wich to me doesn't make a lot of sense, the old ones where pretty smart and seems that the Eldar warp affinity is more a weakness to chaos rather than a strength but a total bonus against the material star gods.
It seems there are sources for both arguments, what are the more recent ones? And what is the "community head canon" about it?
Hey guys, as per title really... I'm relatively new to Eve (1 and 1/2 month old character with 7mil SP) and I've been doing up to lvl 4 missions, null sec ratting and exploration. I would like to know your opinion on this community and if there's good isk in incursions in general, any info is much appreciated!
What do you guys think, I've honestly seen all sorts of predictions from him only targeting Mariupol for port access, some people saying a land bridge to Crimea, some people saying further north from Crimea to capture the dam and supply water from the Dniester river, there there are more lofty claims or essentially every significant russophone/russified area(which would include kharkiv and other industrialized areas) and connecting with a landbrige to Transnistria, essentially turning Ukraine into a landlocked state, with all its strategic assets under Russian control, particularly its soviet era shipbuilding and aviation/engine manufacturing asses.
Sorry for the unpleasant topic. Up to a few years ago, I rarely saw cockroaches in Auckland. At my current flat I lived here for a couple of years without seeing a cockroach. Then me and my flatmates rented a bach in the Coromandel which unfortunately had a lot of cockroaches inside and out. Yuck. Inadvertently a few must have smuggled themselves back on our vehicles and established themselves outside.
Now, especially in the summer, just about every few days I'm finding a cockroach which has managed to find its way indoors. (I've done a lot of deep cleans so I'm sure they aren't established inside).
Unlike other cockroaches I've seen before in Auckland which tended to be on the small side (maybe 1.5 - 2 cm), these are big nasty ones (around 4 - 5 cm in length).
I'm curious, if you are unlucky enough to find a cockroach in Auckland does it tend to be the large or small variety ?
Apologies again for the unpleasant topic, these cockroaches are really starting to bug me. Yes I can spray contact insecticide everywhere, but I feel kind of bad for other bugs like spiders (which I prefer to just put outside rather than killing). Cockroaches get no mercy though.
Might take a bit for their servers to realize it, but it should be popping up. The Rival Tech DLC might arrive a bit later, but it will get there!
with a non classy Nomad build (because Nomad will NOT drop for me!!). My friend did his absolute best to explain everything. Wish I could remember the name of the agent that saved our asses at the last minute when he joined. I now have a new respect for the LMB. I think it was waay harder then the raid..Falcon Lost was a blast!!
I don't fully understand this mode, and I don't understand the theory, so I need you to tell me something.
1.Please tell me about ACT.
I don't understand anything about ACT out of the three supports. (I don't have any information in Japanese...).
I've heard that when it's active, it attacks the enemy's position, but I don't know what exactly it does...
This is why I built this topic.
In one of the games, there was a player PT who held the battery and would not let go.
If you keep holding the battery
γ»The position is always displayed.
γ»Abandoning support
These are the two major disadvantages.
Is there any advantage to holding on to something over these two?
3.I would like to know the theory behind this mode.
I understand that it is a variant of assault mode. (Annihilate and destroy the base.)
On top of that, I would like to know if there is an effective way to get around.
When I'm using a fast-footed MECH, I try to keep the battery and RAD active as much as possible.
When I'm using other MECHs, I play as assault mode, keeping an eye out for base attacks.
Iβve been wanting to share this with someone for a long time now. Really wanna see if anybody agrees with me.
The division 1 incursions really had that touch of player strategy that allowed you to be free to use your abilities to complete the mission. Clear skies in my opinion was the best one at it. Pushing me and my friends into thinking really hard on a strategy involving prioritization, distracting the enemy, using our skill abilities, and our builds to max potential. We didnβt watch any YouTube videos and yet we came up with our own strategy.
I kinda miss this in games, instead of missions being these step by step procedures, puzzles that donβt really tell you what to do. The game is challenging because the game is actually challenging not because you lack the information of what to do.
I loved all the division 1 incursions but Clear Skies was my favorite. I loved using my Brains and feeling so rewarded afterwards. Does anybody else feel this way?
So I haven't played Wildermyth since 0.33. Updated it, loaded the and saw 4 heroes preparing to defend against an incursion. I set up lvl 2 defences (I think? idk these are new to me) bla bla and defend the settlement.... only to get wiped. wtf. I remember defending against incursions with 2, sometimes 3 heroes without any problems. Have threats and heroes scaled that much since when I last played? Are my current characters too weak/obsolete? Or are incursions just op now?
One of the top posts on this sub is how the cartel would last less than a fart in the wind if the marines showed up because "drones n' stuff" yet after 20 years in Afghanistan I fail to see how this would pan out differently
I'm not saying the cartels would actually beat any first-world military in open combat but whatever intervention happens would require a massive compromise of funds and lives, it would be a war of attrition with tons of asymmetrical warfare that would last decades, anyone up for that?
Plus its no longer happening on the other side of the planet but right next to a very big, very porous border. Just like narcos can smuggle cocaine up north they could move things like explosives to commit terrorists attacks, to name just one of many horrible things they could do
And on the other hand I seriously doubt the average Mejicano is gonna be happy about a bunch of gringo jarheads shooting stuff in their country. Couple drone'd weddings after and you got people joining the narco militias out of spite, dont pretend it wont happen this time
Running a Fall of Delta Green campaign currently, and I'd intentionally written the operation to be a very slow burn. We are four or five sessions in now and only at the very end of last night's game did I finally give my players any sign that there is anything supernatural going on at all.
After pressuring a Sheriff's Deputy into confessing that he and his department had been part of the murder and coverup of a young hippie girl, the cult that had leaned on the Sheriff to ensure her silence were tipped off that he had flipped and talked to who the Sheriff mistakes as "the Feds". So one of the cult's hypergeometry adepts used a ritual to send Those Beyond after the Deputy, whose body has all but disappeared though the players have stumbled open his clothes neatly fallen onto the floor of his bedroom.
As the players enter the Deputy's house at the start of next session, they'll find some more telltale evidence of Those Beyond; lightbulbs left on the night of his demise glow with a faint purple tinge, and hum at an unnaturally high frequency. I was also thinking the Deputy may have switched on his television set before moving to his room to get changed (and subsequently attacked); if that's the cast, what kind of after-effect could Those Beyond have left on the TV screen, for the players to find and, hopefully, be unnerved be?
Deep Rock's tech looks pretty futuristic, but the Dwarves always wish that Deep Rock would invest in some better equipment.
When looking at the Rival Tech, it becomes clear what is really technologically possible in their universe and how much Deep Rock really is cheaping out.
I feel like this is something that has to be updated and improved on every two years or so.. cause waiting 3days for a 5 or 6* champs in incursions to refill is wild.. & the 40 min or wβe it is..wait for AQ & AW energy refill is tiring & old already. Just saying. With the infestation going on itβs the least they can do.

Here it is, I posted this a few weeks ago asking for advice and tweeked it a little. You keep the plaguecaster with the plague marines, poxwalkers screen rear or advance up the middle, contemptor and tallyman shenanigans along with a PBC holding the rear. A Chaos Spawn as diversion (Sometimes more!) and a nuke of deep strike with the death shroud+plague skull and LOC with ferric blight on turn 2. Secondaries usually are grind them down, where we stand we fight and spread the sickness or mission based secondary dependent on number of objectives.
