So my Campus has created a new rule stating that Fraternitys will have set rush weeks (these Fraternitys do it this week, the rest do it the second week) and are no longer allowed to take bid acceptance the night they're given out. People are also no longer allowed to pledge a Fraternity unless they goto meet the Greeks.

Fr, just wanna know because I got a longer rant on IFC and I have ways to cut their funding. What’s their actual purpose other than being a pain in the ass at times? Do they use their money efficiently?

So I have this one particular project I just got assigned on and was asked to export an IFC. When I click on File-> export -> IFC, the program just gets stuck, doesn't open the IFC export menu and just shuts off Revit as a whole without warning. This is all the latest version of Revit 2021.

I have been searching for solutions, installed another IFC exporter and nothing has worked so far. anyone has any ideas?

So this quarter is the first quarter where our ifc has implemented new rules regarding alcoholic beverages at our party.

Rules: -need a water station (I love and agree with this) -no alcoholic beverages can be served over 13% -beverages must be served in closed containers -and only serving 4 drinks max and the rest has to be byob

Now for some context, I go to a school where Greek life has relatively big parties but Greek life itself is small. My house pays around 300-400$ dues a quarter. Our social budget is between 15-30k a quarter.

We’re really drowning with these rules as we throw 2-4 times a week. What we’ve been doing is buying seltzer’s from Costco, but as one might imagine those things go out quick. Our last party alone we bought 7 packs and that wasn’t even enough.

Nothing is worse than running out of booze at a party half way through.

Knowing how creative y’all can be I was hoping you might provide some insight.

To those who’ve been through this: are IFC and FC1 the same thing?

I know there are those in this sub that went through WP and those that went through other bases for their flight physical. How did your experience(s) differ and do you prefer any one specific location over the others?

Lastly, could I theoretically ask my recruiter to schedule me at a specific location? I’ve read that the people at WP are nice and really wanted to help people pass/succeed; is that the same at other locations as well?

A movie I saw in late 90's on IFC when they showed more obscure movies. it was about a couple touring dive bars to sing karaoke. I remember it having a a slight wild at heart vibe set maybe in the southwest? I also remember a scene where the couple went to a comedy club and laughed obnoxiously at who ever was on stage. It's not the Duets movie. Been looking for years. Anyone have any ideas?

I must be thinking about some other band ... but ... I have not seen any announcements about an IFC offering for 2022. Have I missed something? Or are they skipping next year? It's going to be a bleak 2022 if so.

For context: Small/mid size private school that’s like ranked in top 40ish nationwide for academics and stuff, big endowments etc.

5 years ago, about 40% or more of campus was involved in greeklife. Fast forward to now, it’s below 20% for the guys and below 30% for the sororities (about 45% before). Now the issue is, IFC/PHC is not doing shit about it for the most part.

Now I’d understand if they were short on money, but they are sitting on over $X00,000 of student activity fee money. I’m on the allocations committee (people that basically decides how much money each umbrella org gets) and when we pushed them to use their money they proposed the idea of BUILDING A GOLDEN MASCOT on campus.

Any advice on what can be done? (Ps can’t cut their funding as it would look bad on paper just like we can’t cut diversity and inclusion funding, we have the power but it’s sticky and will piss off some people).

Ik greeklife is falling everywhere for many reasons but to get halved in 5 years while they sit on 6 figure kills me. What we’re trying to do now is have them set up an endowment fund with that money and help cut all dues by a decent bit of money with ultimately goal to make greeklife without financial barriers.

What are the options for exporting an IFC file from an assembly and including the iProperties of the parts?

Any ideas on batch processing thousands of IFCs to produce 3D extents/envelope? (no attribution required)

Output format ideally anything that can be read by FME software.

Alternatively any ideas to create the smallest and simplest possible geometry from a given IFC?

Has anyone made it through the Wright-Pat physical with a waiver for their allergies? I was initially DODMERB'd, passed a series of challenge tests in High School, and was cleared. My Cadet SURF says Y for Pilot Qualified.

I'm wondering what my experience would be like at Wright-Pat. Would the waiver suffice? Hopefully they don't have to do the challenge tests again, as that takes days? Or if they do require additional tests, would I be able to do these at home?

So for work reasons I got the task to find ways to export DXF, DWG or IFC files (If I understand correctly those are CAD format files) from a STL file or a gLTF File (or in the specific case from Babylon.JS) the problem is that little to no luck I've had to find a something like that.

So if someone on this community knows about some tool like that (preferably free, but can be of paid nature) or at least give me it would be greatly appreciated.

Btw, I found a site named CAD Exchanger, even if it has an api to do the things I want I'm skeptical a bit of the site and even if I try it it can't export DWG files, someone used this service? is trustworthy?
