Hyacinthe Rigaud Puns

Nachdem wir vor kurzem das epische Finale der Quanionsqueste durchgespielt haben, habe ich zur Feier des Tages charakter-spezifische Tarotkarten gemalt- 5 für uns Spieler und die letzte für den Meister. Inspiriert wurde die Idee von den Karten aus DA: inquisition.

Die Karte des Meisters enthält Mini-Spoiler für die Queste, daher wird das Bild nur verlinkt. Es werden die Regionen angeteasert in denen wir waren, sowie der BBEG dargestellt (wobei sein Design nicht den offiziellen Quellen entspricht, also nicht eindeutig erkennbar). Der Text ist spoilerfrei.

Der Eremit- Hesine Winterkalt. Der Eremit steht für Reflektion und Suche. Auf diejenigen aber, die sich zu tief in ihrer Suche verlieren, wartet am Ende nicht die Erkenntnis sondern Verirrung. Passend für einen Charakter, deren führende beste und schlechte Eigenschaft die Neugier ist. Die Adepta, die übrigens ich gespielt habe, ist Erkunderin und Weißmagierin mit Stolz und trägt gewissenhaft den vom Codex Albyricus vorgeschriebenen Hut, Falkdan.

Die Kraft- Vero di Falconeri. Mut, Stärke und Selbstvertrauen in royalem Purpur und Bordeaux, mit einem Hauch Hedonismus. Würde Vero meine Kleiderwahl für ihn beurteilen, würde er sagen, dass Lila seit 2 Monaten aus der Mode ist. Außerdem ist die Kombination von Lila und Rot ein delikater Farbspagat, an dem ich definitiv gescheitert bin und Kardinalsünde: Großflächig Purpur ist die plumpeste und folglich niederste Art und Weise um Reichtum zu verdeutlichen. Als Vorlage der Pose diente ein Portrait von Sonnenkönig Louis XIV - Angemessen würde der Schwertgeselle sagen.

Der Wagen- Helmbrecht Burkherdall. Der Wagen der großen Arcana wird mit Zielstrebigkeit und Selbstbeherrschung assoziiert, können aber von Zeit zu Zeit in Sturrheit umschlagen. Der Ingrerimmgeweihte wird hier dargestellt vor seiner Tempelbaustelle in Gareth, das Herzensprojekt des Baumeisters seit Beginn der Kampagne. Ein Fels in der Brandung, der in seiner Werkzeugtasche immer den richtigen Hammer für jeden Nagel hat- und für große Nägel gibt's große Warunker.

An extraordinary example of a star fort which is also common known as a bastion fort this map, showing the fortifications surrounding the city of Ath, is the work of Frederik de Wit (1630-1706), the founder of a dynasty of three generations of Dutch map publishers, all named Frederik.

The de Wit firm produced many kinds of maps, but specialized in maps of cities and atlases of city maps. Located in present-day Hainaut province in French-speaking Belgium, Ath was conquered by the French under Louis XIV in 1667. The French later constructed massive fortifications around the city.

A bastion fort or trace italienne (a phrase derived from non-standard French, literally meaning Italian outline) is a fortification in a style that evolved during the early modern period of gunpowder when the cannon came to dominate the battlefield. It was first seen in the mid-fifteenth century in Italy. Some types, especially when combined with ravelins and other outworks, resembled the related star fort of the same era.

The design of the fort is normally a polygon with bastions at the corners of the walls. These outcroppings eliminated protected blind spots, called "dead zones", and allowed fire along the curtain from positions protected from direct fire. Hello! Please enjoy this last minute entry that I have prepared while procrastinating my presentation that is due in 3 hours after having not slept all night. Double last minute yayyy

This mood board is inspired by the extravagant King Louis XIV. Over his lifetime, he commissioned numerous works of art to portray himself, among them over 300 formal portraits (source: Wikipedia). The most famous is this painting by Hyacinthe Rigaud. The sleeves! The wig! The bling! The rhinegraves on those LEGS! The absolute drama! Pardonez-moi for taking the liberty of updating this lewk for the modern age - his Majesty would surely need a leather purse in which to store his manly necessities (such as a spare pair of rhinegraves) that also complement his belles chaussures.

I miss the days where high fashion meant extravaganzaaaa. Don’t get me wrong, modern and simplistic silhouettes are nice but sometimes I just want to prance in white stockings and flowing robes in jewel tones like a majestic unicorn queen while I share my cake with the breadless masses. Alas, I am but a wee student and have only smol money, sigh. This mood board is me channeling ol’ Louie in a just-woke-up-need-to-pop-to-Tesco-but-my-chambermaid-is-away kinda way. Fashun from head to toe, darling. Random but fabulous. Who’s with me?

I searched long and hard for this after falling in love with the auth in store. Finally Bela had orange and assured me it was highest quality so I bit the bullet!

Pros:

• Cheaper than auth
• Correct colour
• Leather was nice and soft with no fufu smell, smells of leather
• Bela communicates well
• Looks like the auth from afar
• bag is very roomy and fits LOADS

Cons

• shallower quilting and bigger stitches than auth
• Leather is not as soft and wrinkly as auth, I wonder if it’ll help if I sit on it
• CC turn lock made is of some painted leather that’s chipping (see pics)
• Untidy stitching on the underside of the leather tab of the chain (see pics)
• Funny authenticity card (minor gripe)
• No packaging at all! Just a plain black dust bag :(

I’m considering selling this on the BST. My advice is, stick to the popular colours with this bag

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
