Did it not make too much sense to add Nine themed weapons into a Nine themed Dungeon? Surely it is a better idea to add the Hoosegow, Widows Bite, Ikelos weapons, ect into the world drop loot pool and Trials of the Nine weapons into the Prophecy Dungeon.

What was the thought process when making the Dungeon and going "You know what, I think they'll really love it if we added Hoosegow, Widow's Bite and the Ikelos weapons" over the Trials of the Nine weapons

It honestly baffles me. Like, who was sat there at the desk that day and thought "I think everyone will jump for joy when they see Hoosegow is back"

The Ikelos weapons baffle me too. We've just finished an entire Season dedicated to Rasputin, the Warmind weapons, Seraph lore etc, but somehow the Ikelos gear ended up in the Dungeon in this Season??

Edit : A few people have mentioned they're there because of the Wastelands area, and they're all original vendor weapons from there. That definitely makes sense, but ask yourself this; were you excited when you dropped those vanilla items, or would you have been excited if you dropped the Trials of the Nine weapons?

I'm glad rockets are getting buffed but I find it laughable that that junkyard launcher from prophecy could become pve meta. (Sarcasm) there are a few better arc rocket options becoming available but yeah...

DAE have random unfamiliar words pop into their heads at night? Last night I awoke to the word hoosegow and had to google it. No idea where I may have heard it.

This isn’t a constant thing, but maybe a couple times a year a word will pop up. Sometimes I don’t know if it’s a proper noun or how to spell it. Thankfully google can sometimes make sense of my “bone apple tea” and point me in the right direction. Maybe it happens with words I know too but they don’t have the sense of mystery so I don’t notice. AE?

TIL the origin of hoosegow, and it turns out to be from the Mexican Spanish word juzgao, a jail, which came from juzgado for a tribunal or courtroom and it shifted to mean a jail because the two were often in the same building. worldwidewords.org/weirdw…
