A list of puns related to "Hms Pandora"
Pandora stared intently at the box that sat on the table in front of her. She nervously toyed with its clasp as her mind raced with fantasies of what might be contained within. She looked around her. Her home was nice enough, it was well furnished and decorated, there were trees and flowers surrounding it, and the sun always shined through its windows during the day, which, like boring, mechanical clockwork, was always heralded by the songs of birds. Her neighbors were friendly, and her daily dealings with them were always pleasant. But to her it was a prison, a gilded cage tucked away from some universal truth she couldn't put her finger on.
She eyed the box again, her fingers tracing its outline. She was afraid of it, of course, and all of the warnings she was given, but she was so discontent with her life, or, rather, her lack of one, that she felt compelled to ponder it. She bit her lip, and slyly began to undo the clasp. She took a deep breath, and popped open the lid.
In a matter of seconds, all manner of malicious voices and apparitions scurried outward, overwhelming her completely. She felt like she was caught in a tornado, her vision blurring and her muscles spasming. So this is what reality is, she thought to herself. She immediately regretted her decision, maybe her little town wasn't so bad after all. Maybe it's not a cage, but a protective dome that shields her from truths that others are not so fortunate to have the opportunity to hide from. She knew, then, that there was a good reason for why she should not have opened that box.
She managed to regain enough control of herself to hastily set the lid back on the box, for she wanted her sanity back, she wanted for all of it to go away, and when she did so, all of the ghastly things that came out of it disappeared, and with it, the knowledge that they ever existed in the first place, because even knowing the contents of the box, and the potential for their existence, would be enough to haunt her. She was back in her home, the birds were still chirping and the trees swaying gently in the breeze.
But once the box was closed, she had entirely forgotten why she closed it in the first place, as her previous dread was replaced once more with unbearably routine discontentment.
She eyed the box curiously, and, with some hesitation, began to undo its clasp again...
Unbeknownst to her, a neighbor was watching her through an open window the entire time. That girl must be cursed, he thought to himself

Before I get started, a couple people have suggested I do YouTube videos on this. I do want to do this, but I don't really know how to get started. I have experience with making videos, but I'm not sure how the style should be. Like would it just be me talking over the games or would I just kind of me reading off these reviews? Not sure how I want to approach it, so suggestions are welcome.
As always, feedback on the reviews themselves is always welcome! I encourage expressing disagreement because it gets me to see another perspective and maybe re-evaluating my own thoughts on these games. Also, I want to be as clear as possible when I say that this is literally only my personal opinion and what I consider important doesn't always matter to others.
> Pokemon GS Chronicles
TLDR: HGSS but so much more expansive.
This is going to be the first of two Johto reimaginings I'll be exploring. This one takes the approach of remaking Heart Gold/Soul Silver. I'll do the whole compliment sandwich thing with this game, looking at pros, cons, and then pros again.
One of the worst aspects of the mainline Johto games was simply the lack of diversity in routes. So many cool Pokemon like Misdreavus (which tbh was mediocre at best originally) and Larvitar were locked way late in Kanto. The level curve was also suspect, especially with route Pokemon being at way too low levels making grinding ridiculously tedious. It's part of the reason that while I respect HGSS and what they did for the franchise I did not really enjoy playing through them all that much. GS Chronicles changes this by increasing the sheer amount of Pokemon present. In addition, they solve the level curve issue by making battles consistent with your level, along with making them challenging but ultimately fair. In addition, another issue with Johto is that many Gen 2 Pokemon are just not good, but GS Chronicles solves this issue by giving several buffs to Pokemon, the most notable for me personally making one of my favorite Pokemon, Ariados, Bug/Ghost with higher speed and Swords

<Time to take care of things. Iβd better call my boss.>
On that thought, Fredrick quickly drops off his tool-pack and struggles out of his bulky EVA-suit.The whole ordeal takes a few minutes, but eventually he is free again.
Slipping back into his overall he turns toward his suit, which is βhangingβ on the wall.
<Okay, now how do I transport that thing?> He ponders, thinking about his blind passenger.
His suit will stay here, and he needs to get the sample from here to anywhere else, at least for the time being. But without a container for it, this would be difficult.
He opens his locker, searching for any kind of bag or box.
βCome on, pants, shirts β aha! Found something.ββThat should do.βHe reaches for a transparent, hermetically sealable plastic bag.Normally, those would be used for βdangerous biologicalβ samples, but it will do in a pinch.
He floats back over to his suit and carefully opens its pouch with the wondrous piece of metal inside. Using his work gloves to 'protect' him, he pulls the chunk out of the pocket.
<Aside from the countless possible dangers it presents, it's actually very pretty>, he thinks to himself.
And now that he is able look at it in a calmer atmosphere, he can make out the bizarre and chaotic, but also weirdly organized patterns on its surface. It is similar to bismuth crystals, but much more disorganized and also a lot softer in its shape, almost organic even.
He rotates it in his hand, looking at it from different angles, quickly finding out something else.
<Itβs kind of warm.>
As he gives it a quick thought, he stops for a moment.
<Wait β¦ why would it be warm?><Oh. Radioactivity

oops.
My back is in agony.
cracking my eyes open I stare up at the ceiling above.
This is not my room. Rolling over I realise I'm lying on the hard cold deck.
Why?
Memories of what happened before I blacked out return.
Ah, right.
I'm apparently five hundred and twenty something years in the future.
Fuck.
Sighing I force myself up and back into my seat, still not comfortable but better than the deck.
Although my back screams at me the entire time I'm moving.
Glancing at Bronte's display, its dark. I call out. "Bronte? You around?"
After a moment she reappears frowning down at me. "Ah, Lieutenant, awake at last I see."
I grunt at her, see I can be just as eloquent.
Don't give me that look.
Anyway.
Rolling her eyes at my response she continues.
"I have taken the liberty of moving the ship into this systems asteroid belt. Partially for cover and partially so I can send what remains of our drone swarm out to hunt for any resources we are in desperate need of."
Leaning back in my chair I tap at the screen in front of me.
"Right, can you show me what we need." I try to be commanding but the yawn at the end kind of ruined the image. I need an issue to work on, take my mind off the current situation.
Flicking her fingers a report springs up before me. Taking a moment to read over it. Oof, we are in trouble.
Our primary issue is Titanium Alloy, itβs what makes up the ships armour, superstructure as well as a number of interior sections. Most of the rear half of the ship is intact, itβs the front half that's the issue.
It'd be better to list the compartments that can still hold atmo.
There's four.
Four compartments that can hold air, out of almost a hundred.
Wonderful.
Still the old gal made it out, goes to show how well these ships are built.
Honeycombed superstructures may be exorbitantly expensive, but damn are they effective.
So, we need to replace all that hull plati

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Hi - My 15 y/o daughter and I are making our first trip to WDW. We have done Disneyland many times as we live in an agacent state. I know WDW is another beast altogether. We do go pretty hard-core at Disneyland/Knotts Berry/Universal and we don't have a problem putting in many miles and hours. Last time we did Disneyland in March 2020, we were there for rope drop at extra magic hours (7am) and stayed until park closed (10pm). I think she counted 26 total rides that day. We did Knotts another day from open to close as well. Full days and going hard for our favorite attractions is usually how we roll.
We each had a few flights that were canceled during the beginning of covid. The value was set to expire in March (use em or lose em) and I have limited pto days available for this trip. I also didn't want my daughter missing too much school (1.5 day for this trip at the moment for her). This is a quick trip and I am trying to do alot. I wish we had more time but we don't. It was a fast decision to make this happen a couple of weeks ago.We were also lucky enough to be able to combine our 2020 canceled plane tickets into first class round trips for this one. We are pretty stoked and very grateful!
Below is what I have on the agenda at the moment. I am wondering if it is too much? Any other feedback is also greatly appreciated.
1/13 - arrive at night and head to the hotel, Disney Beach Club Resort. We will likely Uber/Lyft
1/14 - Get an ILL for ROTR at 7am and secure a genie-plus for one of the other rides on our list. Have a quick service meal at Beach Club and walk(?) to Hollywood Studios for early entry. Hit MMRR at early entry, then ToT and Rockin around the time of official opening. Obviously, do our ROTR for whatever time we get. The only other ride that I really HAVE to do is Slinky Dog. We've done Star Tours, Millennium Falcon, etc previoulsy at DL. Alien Swirling and Toy Story Mania are also not 'must do's' but we will do any of these if they fit in somewhere. We have a 430 early dinner in Disney Springs at Morimoto. I don't mind using Disney transportation or Uber/Lyft, honestly whatever is faster and more convenient from DHS to Disney Sorings (?) We got an Ogas reservation for 755pm. Afterwards I plan on hopping in line right before park close for Slinky Dog Dash. Then return to Beach Club (walk, boat, skyliner?)
I am also considering trying to squeeze in a couple of epcot rides [RR with a ILL maybe) at 2pm before leaving for Morimoto (Uber at

THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB
Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"
I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual
So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes
r/unclejokes for dirty jokes
r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC
r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes
Punchline !
Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub
Edit 2: don't touch the thermostat
Do your worst!
How the hell am I suppose to know when itβs raining in Sweden?
Ants donβt even have the concept fathers, let alone a good dad joke. Keep r/ants out of my r/dadjokes.
But no, seriously. I understand rule 7 is great to have intelligent discussion, but sometimes it feels like 1 in 10 posts here is someone getting upset about the jokes on this sub. Let the mods deal with it, they regulate the sub.
They were cooked in Greece.
I'm surprised it hasn't decade.
Now that I listen to albums, I hardly ever leave the house.
Don't you know a good pun is its own reword?
Two muffins are in an oven, one muffin looks at the other and says "is it just me, or is it hot in here?"
Then the other muffin says "AHH, TALKING MUFFIN!!!"
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
