A list of puns related to "Heavy Goods Vehicles"
Halo has always had a level of symmetry, at least in the classic modes. Both teams have access to the same weapons and vehicles at the same time, with one or two power weapons being contested and in the middle of the map. Objectives are generally balanced in their placement on a map to give both teams a fair chance.
In Infinite, weapon spawns are random, so one team may spawn with BRs, Shock Rifles, and a Sniper, while the other is left with Commandos, a Stalker Rifle, and Skewer. You can probably guess which team will have the advantage. Worse yet, heavy vehicles seem to be given to the losing team towards the end of a match, which in more than one case leads to that team taking the lead due to overwhelming firepower. I understand this is probably to help a team not get completely stomped, but it's done in such a haphazard way that it can easily ruin it for the team that actually deserves the win. Lastly, the new objective games of Stockpile and Total Control are extremely unbalanced in their objective placement. I have had plenty of games where the objectives spawn much closer to one base or the other, rather than dead in the middle, or spread out in an even way. This can easily lead to a snowball effect and a fast win for one team. These are all against what I consider core Halo MP conventions. It's always been about what teams with equal equipment can do and who can use it better, not who gets luckier with weapon spawns or objective spawns. Ideally sure, you can counter anything with anything, but let's be real, the Stalker Rifle is no match for the 1-hit -KO potential of the Shock Rifle. The commando is no match for the near-power weapon status of the BR. I really don't care that the weapons are random for each round, but they need to at least be symmetrical between bases.
I really hope these issues don't get sidelined due to the more vocalize concerns about monetization and XP. I think these are pretty inherently detrimental issues that will make people lose interest out of frustration. It's one thing to be placed on a poor team, it's another to lose due to your side of the map having worse options.
Hi,
I noticed that you have multiple videos related to the safety of cyclists in everyday commuting.
I am doing a Master thesis related to accidents with heavy goods vehicles (trucks) and vulnerable road users ( pedestrians, cyclists etc) in urban areas and would be very grateful for your input.
Here is the questionnaire - https://forms.gle/yxNbapAbzhWkbRCb9
The questionnaire is anonymous and it should take around 10 minutes.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
All the best!
Let me fly around with my chernobog and tank, rockstar ;-;
Our goal is to determine the feasibility of this transition.
If you are informed on this topic, your participation in our survey is greatly appreciated.
Hello all, I'm new here and know very little about the EV market. I've been given the task of researching current and upcoming fully electric and hybrid heavy goods vehicles for my eco-tech company. The boss has found we may need something to move large items around soon on short distances and thought it would be an excellent excuse to get an electric truck.
Only problem is everything i can find on google is about upcoming vehicles. Are we a few years too early? I saw BMW had a 60 mile range truck on the road testing in 2015 but i can't find anything else about it.
Just wondering, because although the expansion of mining operations in the Jamestown side of the crater seems like a lot, it's also been years of expansion and we have had Sea Dragon for launching large amounts of hardware.
When The Moon Marines retake the Lithium mining site, Tracey comes around a bend in the Canyon to find very large mining drills/towers/whatever they did not account for. The size of these seem incredibly large and massive for something that would have to fit inside a roughly Saturn V booster/N-1. From the latest episode we know their Buran still hasn't launched, and even then we still don't know the actual payload to Lunar surface of the shuttles which already stretches credibility. So my assumption is the Russians must have an ultra heavy lift vehicle to get that amount of material up there in the little amount of time they held it (Could only be what, 2 months at most?). Otherwise, how else did they get those mining towers there?
im currently grinding the german tech tree but i need 420.000 (funny number) to be able to train the crew of the leo 1, m48, marder and other tanks that i unlocked so im grinding sl with the panther A and im gaining a lot of muni but i've been getting in a lot of uptiers (also braindead teammates) which has made my sl grind a bit slower so i wanted a recommendation for a good vehicle for grinding sl (i think that panther is good at it too)
Basically looking for something that's not horribly slow (so 70+), that can take a beating and keep going, and that can mount a decent amount of ballistic weapons. If it has a hitbox that isn't about 4 km wide that's a plus.
