A list of puns related to "Guillemets"
If I am writing an essay in French about a film would I put guillemets around the title like how we would use single quotation marks in English? Par example:
‘Amélie’, directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet...
« Amélie », réalisé par Jean-Pierre Jeunet...
Thanks!
Bonjour,
Toutefois, écrire « d' « abricots » » me semble pire.
Quand penser vous ?
I have been learning to use an AZERTY keyboard as I was using the ENG-INTL keyboard before (I am using Windows).
How do I type the guillemets on this keyboard? I saw online that I can type them with Alt+0171/Alt+0187 or Alt+174/Alt+175 but I have no idea what that actually means. Holding down Alt and typing 0171 doesn't do anything so I have no idea how to follow these instructions.
What is the easiest way to type the guillemets in Windows in either a text editor or a browser using the French AZERTY keyboard? Merci d'avance!

I'm fairly new to LaTeX, so this may seem like a dumb question, but I've looked everywhere and I can´t find an answer. I'm writing a book in Spanish and I'm using both babel and csquotes. The code looks roughly like this:
\documentclass[12pt, twoside]{book}
\usepackage[spanish]{babel}
\usepackage[autostyle=true]{csquotes}
\usepackage{mathptmx}
\linespread{1.3}
\pagestyle{plain}
\begin{document}
\enquote{Las cosas eran mejores con Khosrau}, pensó Tamming al llegar a los camarotes de los oficiales.
\end{document}
The result looks like this:

But these guillemets look terribly thin and barely noticeable. In Word they look thicker and easier to read:

I don't think it's the font I'm using. Some time ago I wrote an assignment with a different font and the guillemets looked equally thin. Maybe it has to do with csquotes?
I want this book to look visually appealing, and though it may seem superficial the guillemets really bother me. Most actual books I read have beautiful guillemets that really stand out when you look at them, and I don't want mine to look worse in comparison.
Please help.
