A list of puns related to "Group Dynamics"

Context:Title is from the article about solo shuffle that made me laugh.
Pic: Thought a player new to pvp who had been sitting in group finder for 20+ minutes pretty much summed up the entire pvp system of WoW.
I don't understand how the player perception continually get used as this obstructive excuse when the devs point blank refuse to create any progression pathways that aren't group based. You can't do any legitimately competitive content without other people agreeing to let you compete during your login session.
Even if you make your own group you're still waiting for other people to choose to play with you. If you actually thought player perception is a driving factor in balancing the "meta" you would create game play avenues free of the community lens like solo brackets in ranked PvP where people can experiment, practice, learn and test off-meta things without it having to get the cool kids stamp of approval to compete.
What kind of game thinks having a new/learning player sit in Group Finder for 20+ minutes is a crucial part of the social system of the game? You mean the social system of getting people to buy boosts?
If want to keep a side hustle going for a specific bracket I don't really care, but not putting in content that will 100% make the game better so you can artificially prop up pseudo-socialization in a game to try and capitalize on cheap social hook engagement instead of an actual functional system that makes sense that's just pure ostrich mode.
I really won't understand how they do work on a 1 patch lifetime throw away zone, but won't add entire rungs to the repeatable end game play loops like rated pvp with new brackets, like solo queue, 1v1, br, ffa.
The only thing I can think of is they're scared it will be more popular than the current brackets and their entire theory around what makes things fun will be proven wrong and they'll be upset.
As I've fallen deeper into the well that is TAN, I started to think about group dynamics and what I enjoy watching.
For example, even though TAN is a very new group and hasn't even debuted. They are very loud. They are always talking and are quick witted. It makes for watching them to be always entertaining (to me).
Similarly, BAE173 is very loud when they are together as a group, though can be more quiet when in smaller groups. GOT7 another favorite group of mine is also loud when together. And I came to realize that I find the rowdy always talking, always joking groups tend to be the ones I end up gravitating to the most in terms of watching extra content beyond music.
On the other side, I know some people who prefer groups that are a bit more mellow. I'm not saying boring, but a group that doesn't mind lapsing into silence or letting those silent moments really fester. I can understand there is a calm and relaxing feeling that people may like.
So I wanted to ask what do you often prefer when it comes to the groups you like or do you like a specific dynamic better for certain groups.
I get that this is a very subjective and case-by-cade scenario, but as a bit of a tomboy, I'm generally the only woman in a lot of my friend groups. A lot of the times I feel a bit inclined to deny hanging out because I'm worried I might change "the bros/the boys" dynamic.
My experiences have been wildly different. One group I feel immediately at home and don't even think about gender. Another one took some time hanging around until they'd warm up and admit what was "boys talk". I asked this question to someone before and they said that in their experience, just the presence of a woman in the group kinda changes the vibe.
Simply, I'd hate to ruin those kinda vibes, so if there are any indicators to remove myself-- please offer me your wiseness!! Since it's so subjective I'm also interested in hearing your cases/experiences as well. :)
Now that it has officially been set, that trainee a will have seven members, six of which we know, and the seventh member, we have a pretty good clue as to who it is(yorch). It got me thinking about how the group dynamics would work. Now Iβm not talking about the boys getting along with each other but more so that they have so many foreign members in a K-pop group. Earlier I was thinking about who could be the leader of the group. It hit me that only three of the seven members were actually born and raised in Korea and would even be candidates for that position because theyβre fluent in the language Sangwon, woochan, and jihoon, but that's not the point of my post.
Woochan also brought up his concern for how the group dynamics would work. Having so many foreign members in a single K-pop group is almost unheard of unless you have a special type of group like NCT. It also crossed my mind that most of the members probably arenβt anywhere near fluent in Korean Leo of the foreign members is perhaps the best at the language along with James. Still, even then, they can speak pretty well, but their vocabulary isnβt 100% like a fluent speaker, which makes sense because they were not born there. Then you also have members like JJ and yorch who probably speak very little of the language, especially yorch because they had a Thai translator in the video trainee a released today. Now we donβt know when this video was recorded so that it couldβve been a while ago. They couldβve improved their language skills, but it makes you question what big hit was going for with this group. All of the members are incredibly young and talented. Still, it makes me think that they may struggle a little bit having so many foreign members just because with things like variety shows and anything besides music when it comes to speaking, youβre going to have the three Korean members taking over. they kind of got lucky debuting in the middle of a pandemic because most radio shows still have a limit on the amount of people that can be in the building while recording so bighit for the ones that have a limit will most likely send the Korean members leo and/or James and then occasionally JJ and yorch and they can make it work out. But with shows where all the members have to go and be speaking like weekly idol itβll be interesting to see how they make that work.
Anyways let me know what you guys think about it and if this is also something you thought about or not.
I am looking for a simple tool to sketch PC personalities and how they interact: sympathies, rivalries, loves and conflicts and how they evolve in time. I hope to find something that is both light and system-agnostic.
I closest I can think of is "Player Emulator with Tags" (PET), though I don't care about emulating players and I would directly apply agendas and tags to characters (I could have a Skilled, Chatty character, rather than a Skilled, Chatty player). So this is not perfect, but maybe it can be reasonably adapted to the task.
Does anybody know of other simple tools that might help with this idea? If you tried something along these lines, how did you do it and how did it go?
Institutions, whom control the market, are the makers of the market, and ultimately are the market, have the staff, the power, and the money to do whatever they want, at any point they want. We, as daytraders just follow the money, and look at the price action that these institutions create. That's a given, but needs to be reiterated.
I own a couple of restaurants. Truth is that I have to be the positivity in my stores, and I mostly am... But, I am Human... I do occassionaly darken and go into a negative space. The result is always the same... My operation darkens, business goes down, staff is moody, etc. Then after a while, my staff lifts me back up to where I'm supposed to be, because they keep me in check, just as much as I keep them in check, hence Balance.
I can't compete with the big chain restaurants, nor can I even think about how to compete directly, as they are the market makers in the restaurant business, and I can only follow what they do. I have to think outside the box, and that's difficult to do alone. POSITIVITY BREEDS POSITIVITY.
With this positivity, Ideas flow from every corner, business goes up, staff is happier, and the end result is that we, as a group, are able to survive and thrive, even against the onslaught of the big chains taking business away, Grubhub/Uber/Doordash taking deliveries away, come to fruition before our very eyes is continual. This is done constantly, and have put many a mom & pop restaurant out of business, which is their end goal.
Likewise, Institutions know how the average trader thinks, and I see the manipulation of the markets daily, via premiums on options shooting up, never getting filled at the mark, headfake long candles to shake out the retail daytrader, and ultimately try to take money out of our pockets and put it into theirs.
When I found r/realdaytrading I never thought daytrading was possible, as many of you, I'm sure were thinking the same thing. If we can keep this reddit sub filled with positivity, and balance, and when a user falls into the negative darkness, lift them back up, I believe that is how we will all grow and learn from each other, and be able to conquer the task of daytrading together as a group as a whole.
Because ultimately, individually, we don't stand a chance against the institutions. We need to lift each other up, and keep the positivity and learning process going. Whether you're a verified trader, a serious trader, or a novice trader doesn't matter. To

As the CC departs from a feeding we see AQ leave first then followed by her apparent consigliere passing behind Misty who is offset from the group. All is still in the other council members until Misty pausing for a beat takes her leave and the rest follow. What do you think the group dynamics are with the members of the clan?
I will go to some local Real Estate Investors Association meetings and probably start listening to the Bigger Pockets podcast. After reading about some successful and failed real estate investors... one was about mobile home properties and the other was about rentals. I wonder what composes the roles/specialties a team (outside of professionals hired for specific roles like a lawyer/realtor).
From various posts on this sub, it seems to be something involving a main financier and a person who more so does the research to find deals:
Roles can be mixed and matched. For example
A trusted realtor/lawyer would also be needed for that example, but their role is paid specifically for their services. What other non-professional roles are there in a real estate investing team?
As the title states.
Though this is kind'a "Need Advise," it is probably more about wanting to learn from others experience.
Thanks in advance.
What's better, to have one campaign where you're running a ad standard ad group and a dynamic ad group, or to create a separate campaign for the dynamic ad group?
I'm finding a number of my dynamic ad groups within a single campaign that also has a standard ad group aren't receiving many impressions.
(No fighting pls, I just wanted to get fans opinions) *I know groups like red velvet for example got some heat when yeri was added saying shit like OT4 & stuff I think I saw somewhereβ¦
We are five : ISFJ (me), ENTP, INTJ, INTP and ENFJ.
We have a domain forrest with abc.com . So sitea.abc.com , site2.abc.com and abc.com There are user mailboxes in abc.com . I want to create a dynamic distribution group where it just has users that are in abc.com domain . I was originally thinking I can do it with EmailAddresses like @abc.com but that doesnt work and if it did would pull in sitea and site2.
basically like the title says. at one point or other they might be facing a group of very intelligent individuals with the right trick up their sleeve. I need ideas on how I can help them bridge experience gaps, or number of people gaps, in case of situations where they're out of their league.
I also need ideas on how to keep this dynamic world fun and not always antagonistic to the party, even if they go murder hobo on a few towns.
So I hate to be that kind of GM but I finally found a group of players that manages to stick by...except for that one player.
A little bit of context, this player has never touch anything remotely close to a pen and paper RPG. So we ran one-shots to get him into the spirit of the game, he's still rough around the edges but he thoroughly enjoyed the game so much that he is always eager to be the first one there and take charge.
Except the taking charge part, if my group and I are honest, he's terrible at decision making and he meta-games as well as roleplay out of character a lot because he thinks he has to make the right choice to get the best "outcome", i.e Loot.
Now he's a nice guy, fun fellow and we all knew him from college, but it grinds the group's nerves that he is quite irrational or even downright immature with his roleplay and approach. However, it feels weird considering that I know he's not doing it intentionally but it's just how he is (And I know him personally even longer than the others in the group).
I don't want to kick him out and the others feel bad about it too but I am looking to see if I can do damage control or talk with him about it.
For the damage control part, I ponder if I have to stop some of the stuff he would do or just plainly ask him, if that's what he wants to do and that the consequences are real. But I don't know if that would even help, because the group is constantly tired of the consequences resulted from his own action, the group suffers and that in turn makes him even more hated on the table.
For the heart-to-heart talk part, I probably would ask him to think about what the others think if he ends up derailing the game or that he should think about the enjoyment of others.
So any advise on the matter, though?
ESTP (M), INFP (F), ENTP (M), ISFJ (F)
The ENTP and ISFJ are twins.
This is purely hypothetical itβs all made up.
I don't know if it fits here but I found nowhere else to post this. First I will put you in context.
I've been playing Curse of Strahd with friends for 4 months at a rate of approximately 1 session per week. Three sessions ago. My chaotic neutral character died because the character disliked her comment about another character's sacrifice. Basically, they killed her because she said she was disrespectful for throwing his life away. My party's alignments is mostly chaotic neutral or good.
Before making this character, my two previous characters sacrificed themselves fort the party.
I made a new character after the chaotic neutral one wich was lawful good. He died (partly my fault) and I had to make a new one. I already felt like the party didn't appreciate him so much.
After that, my new character was, with the approval of my DM, the return of an old character for which he made a redemption backstory I like. After a session of playing this character, which is very loyal to his party he met literally hours ago, I feel like the ghost of my chaotic character is coming back to haunt me. The reputation I had for playing this character for a long time made me inherently evil I'm their eyes (at least how I receive it) and I cannot get their trust anymore.
I am not asking for them to instantly trust my character, but at least to understand I am on their side.
For those who will ask, yes I talked it out with the players and everything they do is justified by "it's that my character would do" but I asked them to consider me, out of the game, and the amount of fun I get in the game.
I talked about this to my DM, he said to keep playing my character and that it is normal for lawful character to be sacrificed. That, I get, but I asked him if it is normal to be treated as chaotic when I literally said that I'd follow them to their deaths in a zone of truth I failed in saving throw is pretty annoying.
I might still be stuck in my emotions but I don't feel like talking to the DM or the player will change much. I feel like I'll have to change something myself if I want to see it happen.
Now here go my dilemmas :
How to create a character that fits a group that is very chaotic without being betrayed?
How to cope with that I would call "player reputation". Is it even a thing? Can people see every character you play as the same? (Maybe I'm just so bad at roleplaying)
How do I learn from this situation? I don't even know what to get out of it.
P.
