Hello!
When i first got into Formula 1 at the beginning of last year i used to hear a lot of praise on how George Russell was a star and how he had potential to be a future WDC and to challenge Hamilton and Verstappen for the title in the future.
But then by the end of the Season i started to see many criticism about him, even some comments in Reddit saying he's a bad driver and he didn't deserve the Mercedes seat.
Did something happen this season to this sudden change of opinions about him? I've watched about 90% of the races this year (missed some european ones like the first Italian GP, Monaco and Second Austrian GP due to work), and i really didn't see anything bad in his driving, he even got an amazing quali lap in Belgium
