A list of puns related to "Geographical Zone"
I'm assuming it's the same for the rest of Canada.
If I want cable I have one choice. If I want 'similar' services, I have choice... at the same price...
It's not like everyone doesn't know this is happening.. But, it must be "approved" behaviour... Who approved it? Under what guise?
I mean, isn't this 'classic' price fixing?
I read the article about Morden Manitoba (The top post in /r/canada right now) and the person in charge said the cost per house was a one time $400/house charge and blam.... internet for life...
Which means... For easy math we'll say your internet is $50/month (yeah, I know... mine either) In one year you have paid your existing provider enough money to 'bring infrastructure to your house' one and one tenth times!!! Whaa?
So that means that after one year your provider is making 100% profit off of you at a rate that is 'padded' by the lack of competition..
At what point does this become illegal? I'm the first one to bitch about SJ Tribunals in Ontario, but they don't have to follow the rule of law... exactly. Could we make rogers, bell, cogeco, shaw, telus etc "explain themselves"?
I'm going to count the 'Morden' story as our daily reminder of how Canadians are getting screwed by their local monopolies.
Hello /r/warcraftlore!
I'm currently trying to find locations for a possible bronze/infinite dragonflight expansion pack or Caverns of Time instance. My goal is to make a list of zones that had heavy geographical changes. What we found so far:
(Many thanks to /u/Colinbine2016, /u/CaptainMinion, /u/StuntedSlime /u/scourger_ag, /u/GeneralRipper, /u/manofthecorn, /u/atnizzle, /u/BoppeBoye, /u/BattleNub89 , /u/venusaurus for contributing, )
What else is there?
I've been getting worse than usual coverage lately and I've been looking for the option to connect to a Roaming network in case I really need it. However, manually selecting Rogers simply doesn't work. It won't connect.
I read somewhere that Freedom prevents this when physically in a Home zone. Is there anyway around this?
So I've read a lot of you guys' comments, asking which zone people live in, in regards to the weather. I've been trying to google it, but I seem to find a lot of different definitions of these "zones". Does anyone have a link or an explanation for the zones used here on this subreddit?
