Dans nimporte qu'elle administration centrale une demande de renseignement est faite lors d'une nomination d'un haut poste. Et le retour de cette demande donne tout, les infos de bercy et même police. Donc, ils savaient en le nommant....

Je pense réellement que le Covid-19 a montré que la suroptimisation des flux de capitaux et de production n'est pas tenable à long terme. Pas de masques produits sur le territoire, des masques volés / de mauvaise qualité achetés hors de prix à la Chine, qui finalement s'en sort mieux que nous sur le plan financier, puisque la France est entrée en récession cette semaine.
Je crois intimement que cet évènement va mettre la puce à l'oreille des citoyens Français et les faire réaliser que le globalisme n'est pas viable à long terme.

Focalisation has always stumped me. I’m wondering if anyone can therefore let me know what type of focalisation the above encapsulates.
In a novel where the narrator takes the steering wheel by giving characters’ thoughts, possibly events that happened from their past which have relevance in their present judgments but no information outside of what the character knows, what is the focalisation? I am bordering on zero focalisation but cannot be certain.
In good writing there are many forms of focalisation to choose from, each adding something new, a different perspective and method of manipulating how the reader views the particular scene.
What therefore, are the general functions of the main types of focalisation?

Alors je viens vous voir en ce lundi matin, apres mon 18eme refus d'un contrat de location en France, pour un appartement a 580 EUR par mois, dans une petite ville (Saumur).
Je vous explique ma situation:
-> J'ai bosse six ans et demi dans une grosse boite Australienne, dont 2 ans pour la filiale francaise
-> Salaire de 65,000 EUR par an
-> Licenciement economique en Fevrier 2021
-> Epargne total disponible de pres de 200,000 EUR
-> Chomage de 4,000 EUR par mois pendant 8 mois, puis presque 3,000 EUR par mois pendant 16 mois
-> Je suis chez mes parents depuis Janvier 2020, pour aider ma mere a traverser sa lutte contre un cancer plutot badass (elle l'a battu!)
Donc, je sais que j'ai enormement de chance d'etre dans ma situation financiere a 28 ans, y'a rien a dire la-dessus. J'ai maintenant pour projet d'apprendre a etre developpeur, afin de lier mon experience en fusions et acquisitions/croissance d'entreprise avec quelque chose de pratique et me focaliser sur la tech industry. Ca va etre geniale, et j'ai besoin d'une petite pause niveau pression/stress du travail.
Mais franchement, je n'arrive pas a trouver un logement.

Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.

Je suis tombé un peu par hasard sur une vidéo youtube d'une chaine spécialisée sur la Russie (GouvHD) et j'ai trouvé cette vidéo extrêmement intéressante avec ce qui semble être un très bon équilibre entre le point de vue français et russe sur la Russie (donc pas de propagande).
J'ai pensé que partager simplement la vidéo ne serait pas une bonne idée car rien ne fait penser dans l'intro et la première partie que la dernière partie sera plus globale et complète. L'intro traine en effet un peu en longueur et la première partie se focalise sur la situation immobilière de la ville de Vorkouta. Il y a des éléments intéressants mais cela permet surtout d'introduire la deuxième partie.
Par la suite (à partir de 36 min), le youtubeur passe à une analyse plus globale de la situation en Russie. Il parle notamment des difficultés et des chantiers de la Russie de Poutine (en expliquant la situation politique du moment) avec des aspects que l'on ne connait peu ou pas en France. Par exemple avec la politique pro-immigration actuelle et les changements que cela inclus sur l'obtention de la nationalité. Il fait également une comparaison avec le Canada, parle des conséquences directes de l'annexion de la Crimée ou encore parle de la nouvelle génération de russes.
Bref, c'est assez complet et donne de façon accessible pas mal de clefs pour comprendre la Russie actuelle.

Welcome to M&D Week 4, Paranoids! This is my third(ish) reading of my all-time favourite novel. Although I won’t be rereading the entire thing, I’m glad to have the opportunity to take part. Thanks /u/wetbeansinthechat666 for your take on Ch. 11-15, and in short order I’ll be handing the reins off to you /u/TheChumOfChance for Ch. 21-25. Hopefully, those who follow can do a more eloquent job than me.
Chapter 16 (Page 167-174)
If you’ve chosen to follow the Freytag Stages, then we continue onward into the third of the novel’s seventeen sections: the St. Helena sequence. I can’t speak for the entirety of the crowd present, but this section of the book remains a personal favourite of mine. Not even one sentence in, TRP is already alluding to the artifice of recalling “history” through a subjective lens:
“Not yet understanding the narrative lengths Mason will go to, to avoid betraying her [Rebecka], Dixon believes ev’ry word…” (p. 167).
While the two lads enjoy a moment of bonding as Mason shares a bit of his personal history, Dixon remains steadfast in his belief that what he’s hearing is the unedited truth. Dramatic irony being what it is, we as the readers are well aware that Mason is clearly leaving details out. This is not dissimilar to what the Rev’d is doing with the children to whom he’s recalling this tale – a story ripe with embellishments, bent truths, and downright fabrications. Can history ever be considered an objective telling of the past, when those who tell it are inherently biased in their motives to tell it? This is one of the broader and more fascinating questions asked by the novel as a whole. But let’s press onward.
We enter this chapter by way of a lengthy analepsis to the gloriously ridiculous Octuple Cheese-Rolling Incident. I was delighted to learn that this is a real event, held annually in Gloucester. The Wikipedia page on the subject earned a good laugh when I found there was an entire subheading titled Injuries. “Cheese-related Trauma” – have fun writing that on an ER admissions form.
Pious, zealous, irrational religiosity will be a recurring motif throughout, and I picked up on a line on page 168 that may pertain to this idea: *“-then, presently, as if strangely calmed by the Beams of Luminary rising anew above each dip

My 3 month old golden retriever is generally a really sweet tempered puppy. She of course has the puppy land shark down is always biting onto hands and feet.
However sometimes when I am holding her she will all of a sudden start growling and then spin around and harshly bite under my chin. When she starts growling I always try and be quick with either soothing her or putting her down. I never try and tell her off loudly because I want her to know it’s ok to focalise her discomfort instead of going straight to the bite.
So is this aggression or is it just her learning as a puppy?

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.
