The Cuyaba dwarf frog has two 'false eyes' on its rear. The 4 cm frog lifts its rear end when threatened, startling predators. If a predator does not get fooled by the eyespots, and decides to move closer, the frog can produce an unpleasant secretion that comes from glands located in the eyespots.

(Reposting this with only one picture) Can someone tell me what species of ladybug this is? I found it in Indiana and I’ve never seen one before. Everyone says asian lady beetle, but it doesn’t have a white spot on the top like they usually do; it only has the two eyespots on the side.
