Hey, y'all. I was furloughed, so it's time to get rid of stuff I can't use while I look for a job. Everything is in Men's size Large, as well as negotiable, especially if you buy more than one.
ExOfficio BugsAway Sol Cool Hoodie, Men's Large (10.7 oz) SOLD
This literally arrived the day after my notice, and I don't have any plans to be able to test out if the sun hoody life is for me, maybe in a few years I could take it for a spin, but again, cash now is good. This was a catch and release, and the only thing that's wrong with it is a stain on I believe the right arm (see pictures), other than that it's fully functional and in great condition (9/10). New like $70, want $34 shipped.
3f UL rain kilt, white. One size fits all, and I've upgraded to the MLD one. New $22 on amazon, want $9, ideally with something else.
SUL MYOG 1.0 oz Monlite hammock (4.4 oz)
This is a crazy light hammock, with 2 amsteel 7/16 inch loops. I've used it ~20 nights, and it's great if you don't happen to be almost 6 feet. I would suggest being 5'10", but if you put your food under your knees, it actually ok. the dimensions are ~ 104" x 47". I can include 2 MYOG 2" wide tree strap/whoopie sling suspensions (~ 3.5 oz together) for like $40 more, let me know if you want pictures. Just the hammock + loops, $59 shipped.
1.1 oz Ripstop hammock (11.3 oz)
This was a bigger lounging hammock I made for chilling. Dimensions are 120" x 60". Still perfectly good for camping and hiking, especially in colder weather. Hammock + loops, $49 shipped.
Note: Both of the following jackets aren't technically Ultralight (TM), but I posit that they are both valuable in an ultralight kit. The GTX jacket is still lightweight when you think of extreme downpours where you need the Gore-tex, and the Monkey Man is much warmer than my puffy when paired with a shell, while also being much more breathable and warm when wet. It's a great fleece for when you expect some serious rain and chills.
Mountain Hardwear Exposure/2 Gore-Tex Paclite Stretch, Men's Large (13.1 oz)
I got this jacket just a few weeks ago with help from my REI dividend. It's technically a Co-op exclusive, but there are similar jackets by MHW on their site, so I think the "exclusive" part is the colorway. I packed it on a 6-day section hike of the AT a few weeks back, and literally wore it for an hour in a medium rain. It worked well, and the Paclite Stretch is definitely more breathable tha

EE copper field wind pants. Medium, 30" inseam. Like new. $70 shipped.
Senchi Alpha Hoody. Medium. 4004 85 gsm fabric. Brand new, tried it on and didn't like the fit. $75 shipped. SOLD
Ex Officio Sandfly/bugsaway pants. 30x30. Fit is very loose. One small patched spot on the front leg. $40 shipped.
We are still non-official. What's that make us? Not Persona Non-Grata, at least not yet... But I have decided to give this project a little name. And it's in Latin! Pretentious? Probably more than a little. Is that just the way writers are? I'll say so if that takes the blame off in any way. Anyways, it is me, /u/Stormwar2025, again coming at you with another lovely little update on our community as best as I can with the scope of my power.
As you may have noticed, I am a bit off from the beginning of the month like I had tried planning on to get these things more on a schedule, but life is strange and these times only keep changing. To be transparent with you all, I was laid off from my job at a movie theatre in March when the pandemic really got into gear and the world hasn't really given me, or anyone for that matter, a break from all this continual madness. This summer was long and not good for my mental health, but I am trying to kick myself back into gear and out of this ever-looming funk. Mental Health Matters, folks. But, since my last post I have been binging the anime: Little Witch Academia, for some good vibes and lovely art/ animation, I have been offered and started a new job at a company I've applied to more than a few times now, and just this week (before my second full week of work) I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed. This is all while I try to plan a wedding with my fiance in a post-COVID world. So far, I am making it work and my recovery is... Well it's going. My sweet tooth is unhappy with me and this liquid diet isn't a favorite of mine, but lots of water has been helping. Avoiding my two fears at once; dry socket and kidney stones, both at all costs :)

Looking for Merino underwear with cut/fit similar to Ex-Offico Sport Mesh 6" Boxer Briefs .
Or other Merino with a cut good for cycling .
Just bought a three pack from the Fenton Parkway Costco in San Diego. They have grey and black packs. I know many on this board say their quality has gone down, but I thought I'd try them anyway.
I'm getting ready for a month long trip to Thailand in December and have been doing research on things, such as what underwear I want to take. People were so happy with their Ex Officio underwear that I decided to give them a shot.
I'm hooked. I love the breathability and comfort. They fit me great...except for that "pocket" in front that I really don't need.
Has anyone found a similar product made for women who aren't size 0? I wear a L or XL in men's outdoor clothing, which often translates to non-existent in women's outdoor clothing.
Finally found Ex Officio Boxer Briefs at Costco. Three Pack for $24.9?
Next goal finding Big Foot.

From /r/Dallas, Mountain Hideout is having a going out of business sale, and the entire store is 50% off. I was there yesterday and saw plenty of Ex Officio underwear, Patagonia Torrentshells, and similar stuff in a variety of sizes and colors. Some great deals to be had if you are in the Dallas area.
I always see Ex-Officios being suggested here. Don't get me wrong I love my Ex-Officio's, I own several pair, but a few months ago another redditor turned me on to these. I took a chance and bought 3. These are about $5 cheaper than I've ever seen EO boxer briefs go, and I have to say that I arguably like them better than my Ex-Officio's (they are a little more snug). Just wanted to let ya'll know. They've held up well, I've owned them for about 3 months now.

Given to me and tried out a couple times, but the sleeves are just too short for me. The shirt is in great shape and the Insect Shield has tons of life left. Color is Dark Aegean.
$25 shipped CONUS, PayPal FF or add 3% for G&S. Pics
Best boxers in the world. Started buying them 2 years ago, not a single pair has worn out even while washing them at times in remote jungles in Asia. They hold up just as well in modern washing machines.
Been buying ex officio boxer briefs at the ravings of everyone for a couple years. Last foreeeeever, finally needed to add another pair in the mix and boom totally different now. Thin material, pils easily, overall super crap. Didn't read the most recent reviews so my bad. Apparently the manufacturing changes and I'm way more miserable than I should be over underwear. Anyone else notice same and found alternative to Amazon to buy old stock or alternative brand that are as durable?
I'm currently looking for a pair of underwear that's bifl approved and I've either heard that ex officio is the best or worst, well which one is it?
Hello, would you say the Ex Officios are true to size ? Currently a size 18-20, was thinking of the 2XL but since I'm ordering online, would rather be sure beforehand. In your experience, do they run small or large ? Thanks !
