In the United States we narrowly avoided a fascist takeover on January 6, and yet politicians in the GOP refused to ban Trump from further governance and are trying to set the groundwork for a "legal coup". If that sounds familiar, you may have remembered the process in Germany in which Adolf Hitler acquired power, especially the "Enabling Act" which effectively made Hitler dictator.
What does this have to do with gasoline? Well gasoline is a major resource needed to get around in the United States, especially in suburban and rural counties full of pro-MAGA voters. The key to breaking an illiberal personality cult is to break the propaganda flow. Sadly they may still propagandize each other even if say internet and telephone were cut off by corporations, so the true way of subduing MAGA is to remove staff from gas stations and make it verified ID only to buy:
- Gasoline
- Diesel
- Electricity for vehicles
Publicly available data from Facebook and Parler makes it easy to build a list of people to ban.
If MAGA people try to browbeat non-banned people into giving them gas, one can remotely shut off pumps and call private security (not public police, as they may be MAGA'd), but non-MAGA'd security guards completely at the corporation's beck and call.

I have an unmanaged 24 port ethernet switch that has a cable where Spectrum is the main ISP. If I hook up an AT&T wireless hotspot wifi router that has a SIM card as a back up if the service from Spectrum is down, how can I program the AT&T wireless router with the SIM card to kick in as the primary ISP? Would I have to manually remove the Spectrum wire and replace it with the AT&T wireless router or is there a way I can program it like other devices that receive cell service?

Wasn't it a violation of Journalistic ethics to cover this crime-in-progress? These days we have journalists covering looters, but the coverage is always in the context of crime-coverage. Last night, journalists effectively embedded themselves with criminals as they perpetrated a brazen act of lawlessness. I'd say that those journalists aided and abetted criminals, insofar as their coverage amplified the very criminal act in question.
How do we seek accountability?
I have an unmanaged 24 port ethernet switch that has an ethernet cable where Spectrum is the main ISP and is connected to a patch bay for ethernet ports on walls. I plan to hook up an AT&T enabled wireless wifi router that has a SIM card as a back up if the service from Spectrum is down and support for wifi devices such as phones and PC's that have wifi in general. I find out that I may have to switch to an ethernet switch that has dual WAN support to have 2 ISP sources so that covers handling 2 ISP sources. Once I connect the AT&T router to the ethernet switch with a CAT 5e cable, the switch should provide internet to the router so that I can have mobile devices connect to it but as it says that I am connected to the 2.4/5 GHz channels, there is no internet.
Is the AT&T router not capable of using the internet from the ethernet switch or does it HAVE to have AT&T service from the SIM card in order to completely use it?
