Electric Daisy Carnival Puns

Going to EDC the first time this year!

Buying tickets from a family friend, so I don't think I'll get all the information.

I have the lineups for each day, but is there a specific stage lineup I can get beforehand? What about a map of the carnival? I figure that you get that info as you walk in the gates but I'm the type of person to plan things if I can.

Specifically, I'm trying to plan out my days ahead of time by strategizing what artists to see and when. It would be nice to know how much time I would have in between shows I actually want to see and figure out the best time to get food and water, go to the bathroom, etc.

Also, what is the best way to prepare going to the carnival sober? I don't think I'll be camping (that's up in the air atm), so I would really need to do my best to prepare ahead of time. I realize it's kind of late in the game, but this was a spontaneous decision. I heard some people go to the gym and do cardio? Should I try altering my sleep schedule now, or just stay up as much as possible the night before (21st) so I'm exhausted and sleep before the opening ceremony? It's generally difficult for me to stay up late.

Any other tips, suggestions, or hacks? Would I need to camp out at a stage hours before, like I would with the Warped Tour?

I know there's been a lot of COVID discussion and speculation about whether or not the fest is going to be taking place this year or not. Instead of the usual pandemic speculation post, this one will be a little different. Let's take a brief step back to the days of hype and festivals and forget about current events.

One of our users on the Discord server, /u/Invaderon, decided to throw a watch party around a YouTube video I had posted in the Discord a few days ago called "Electric Daisy Carnival 2000".

In 2000, the Electric Daisy Carnival moved to Tulare, California, at the World Ag Expo. The film was shot by American music video director Kevin Kerslake and executive produced by former EDC partners Gary Richards (aka Destructo and head of HARD) and Insomniac boss Pasquale Rotella.

EDC Las Vegas 2019 is FINALLY here! CampEDC check-ins continue and the first day of EDC Las Vegas 2019 happens with the opening ceremonies scheduled at 4PM today with host Bill Nye as ravers from all around the country are pouring into the Las Vegas area to make a mad dash for the speedway!

This megathread will serve this sub for all days of the actual festival. I will create a post-EDC thread as well on Monday morning after the fest!
