I've just watched Double Indemnity, and while I was impressed by (let's be honest) every single actor - it also struck me that I'd heard the name Edward G Robinson before, but this was the first film I'd ever seen him in. And I liked what I saw.
Are there other films of his you'd recommend as good watching?
I prefer science fiction, thrillers (including noir) and comedies rather than things like family histories, historical dramas or romances, if that helps.
Edit: What a wonderful community this is, with a load of suggestions I'll be checking out. I started with Key Largo, and it lived up to the recommendation. Amazing film, and an absolutely electric performance from Edward G Robinson.

This last weekend i indulged on some Edward G. Robinson with a friend. the flavor was hard to describe but the smoke was smooth as silk. i kept getting a mixture of my usual Lane Very Cherry and Lane Hazelnut along with whatever Edward gives. it was very nice from the smooth smoke itself. the flavor wasnt very distinguishable for me.. maybe like a musty fruity note. kind of expensive in my state. but i think it was worth it. what are your experiences with Edward G.
