[TOMT][SONG][1990s] Hip Hop song from East Coast dissing the West Coast and their gangs
A classing HH song from the East Coast that was dissing the West and I remember a line about LA gangs and their colors I think.
I remember that the music video had a shirtless guy (I think) doing some tricks with fire. Not a firebreather but it was like a flaming ball on chains and he was doing tricks with it. The video was pretty dark (it was at night).
The cassette single that changed the game for east coast hip hop in the 90’s. The B side has the Method Man track. Both songs were grimy, raw, and unforgettable IMO!
What are some East Coast hip hop tracks that were competing with G-Funk when it was popular?
We all know about some of them, like The Notorious B.I.G. - Big Poppa.
And there are some from the mafioso rap during that time, like Kool G Rap (feat. Nas) - Fast Life
I love this genre of East Coast Funk because it combines something similar to G-Funk with Boom Bap. What are some tracks that you think could fit this genre?

One of the most commonly seen albums on this subreddit(IMO), nevertheless - does not quell my excitement for this album. One of the best albums to come out of the 90s East coast rap scene, which was dropping multiple classics per year. This is well within the top 10 hip hop albums of the 90s.
