OK, so I cannot take credit for any of these as I have found them on other forums etc after allot of digging. However I am what can be loosely referred to as an IT professional and have many years of experience working with the many fine aspect's of PC's and said software's.

As such I thought I would spread the word to help others.

OK, now that thats out of the way.

• EA/DICE fucked up on something that I am not even sure they realized yet.

Go to the BF4 folder in .\origin games\Battlefield 4
Open ._Installer\directx\redist Right click on DXSETUP.exe and click "Run as Administrator"

What this does is install the DirectX libraries that were copied to your hard drive but never installed that are needed for DirectX to properly process the game code.

I know three people personally that was having the crashing all the time, I had them do this, rock solid.

• If your CPU has the option of Hyper Threading, disable it. Don't argue just try it and compare, this shouldn't help with the game crashing but damn will your game be hella smoother. (This is done in the BIOS, if you are using Windows 8 Google how to restart into your BIOS).

• Create a user.cfg (then edit with notepad) config file in the Battlefield 4 folder and then paste this within the file:

• Install .NET 4.5, I had 4.0 then installed 4.5 and found a modest yet noticeable more stable experience.

• This one is optional and applies to nVidia 6xx -7xx cards only and is pure personal opinion. So as many may know the Kepler series cards ramp up and down their clock rates depending on demand.

Anyone who Overclocks even a potato knows that dynamic values cause a tiny bit of lag, but when that tiny bit of lag is the speed of your clockrates then you could imagine that the only benefit to dynamic clockrates would be extending the life of your video cards/lower power consumption.

I'm looking to build another OTA rig so I can get some deeper FL DSO imaging. I currently have a 430mm frac and I want to get down to 800-1000 for larger sized small galaxies or nebula structure.

The problem is I'm really struggling to find anything within my budget of $1500-2000 that I can either a) find, b) won't be basically "settling" and having to deal with a ton of problems.

It would be sitting on an EQ6R mount with an ASI1600mm mono camera. Guiding setup is currently a 60mm F/4 with an ASI120mm Mono, so going far past 1000FL imaging is going to start giving me ratio problems.

Seeing is also not the best in my area, but I've had some good nights so its something I can work with.

I know I've seen doublet fracs or the Explore Scientific with FCD-1 glass, but I've been told to run away from those. For going newtonian, I've considered a SW Quattro 200 or 250P, though with tube flexure I'd have to upgrade to an OAG rig. I also then have to deal with somehow finding a good coma corrector (Quattro CC is like $440), plus a laser collimator, primary/secondary heaters, etc. A lot of kit that I don't already have which would crank the price of a newt up. I've considered RCs in not having to directly buy a coma corrector, but they AFAIK need flatteners/correctors as well. Flexure wouldn't be an issue due to the tube being much shorter, but even the 8" RCs I've found are in the 1600+ FL range which I wouldn't be able to pull off on my mount and seeing, let alone with my guiding setup.

Hoping someone has some clever ideas that I don't feel like I'd be wasting money. There is of course the used market, but I'm at the mercy of someone happening to have something for sale and also not being a "local pickup" posting.

I’m currently employed on Post-Completion OPT but did not receive access to the SEVP portal. Since there is a 10 day reporting requirement, I updated my university’s internal portal with the employment information. However, they responded saying it may take up to 21 days for them to process this request and enter the information in SEVIS.

In this case, is the 10 day reporting requirement for it to be in SEVIS, or for me to have notified my DSO? I’m not entirely sure how I can get the information into SEVIS without going through the online process which could take much longer than 10 days.

I got woken up around that time to what I thought was some drifting. The problem was that the sound was continuous and lasted for a good 5 minutes. That’s when I figured it had to be something else. Another way I can describe it is how tires sound like in a parking lot but 1000 times louder. When i heard it starting to fade away like it was going somewhere else, i got up to check and didnt see anything. Until i looked up to the sky and there was a trail of jet like smoke crossing the top of our building, it was linear and single and looked to be really close. It is like nothing i have ever experienced before. Any one else?

I'm considering to buy a new eyepiece and I'm kind of puzzled which way to go (I'm quite new to the hobby). I own 8" dob and I have eyepieces which came with it: 25 and 10 mm + one zoom eyepiece 21-7.

I would like to go in direction of observing DSO, thus I want to buy an UHC filter and some wide eyepiece. I'm looking currently at Scientific Explore 82° series and thinking thinking about 6.7 or 11 or 14 mm. I've read a few articles & posts on this subreddit and from those it appears to me that 11mm 82° would be the one based on magnification for 8". What's your opinion?

DSO is coming to my city at the end of this month and I haven’t seen them before. The only problem is that the test that I’ve been studying for almost every day for 6 months is 3 days later on November 30th.

I saw Dead & Co 3 times this year so I’ve had no shortage of good music, but I don’t know if I’m missing out.

Should I go or see em next time?

I have a 10 in dobsonian, and I would like to get a good picture of the Orion nebula this winter. I've been able to take videos of planets and stack the frames, but does the same work for DSOs? I know you're supposed to just do images, but because I have a dobsonian I can't track anything, also the only camera I have is my phone camera.

What can I do to get the best image possible?

I'm in the Southern Hemisphere and have a limited view to shoot from my balcony.

I have a northern view and am able to see Pleiades/Orion move from the east to western night sky from about 9pm - 3am.

Just looking for recommendations on what else I could capture that would be in the same field of view?

I think Andromeda is too close to the horizon for me to see in the Southern Hemisphere.

The subject kinda tells it all. I know you need to put solar film on a telescope so you don't melt your sensor, but is this even possible with that gear or does it need special solar gear to get pictures without damage? I remember the solar eclipse a couple years ago that I would have loved to capture if I were in the hobby at the time with my current equipment. Solar Astrophotography doesn't have nearly as many resources to rely on as regular night time.

I'm running an r200ss 760mm Asi zwo 071mc camera

I’ve seen people take photos of some nebulae and andromeda with 200-300mm is this enough for most nebulae? What about more distant galaxies, and the sun/moon?

If you have interned at DSO, do you mind sharing your experience? I would greatly appreciate it since I am offered an internship there and want to know more about it before confirming.

Also for full-timers at DSO, how is DSO like? Specifically, I am referring to Members of Technical Staff.

This patient showed up for his appointment, not having a clue that the business department canceled his appointment after threatening to send him to collections, after he made a payment to his wife's treatment. This is the response email after reaching out to put on a recurring payment plan: Hi,  Thank you for reaching out regarding this matter.  I would love to accept the payment of $400 a month.  My question would be if the patient is coming in for services is he able to pay in full for those services?  From my understanding the patient would like to be placed on a payment plan but wants to complete his dental services and rack up a higher account balance.  I don't think this is going to work for us.   Deb has a balance of $2314.45.  Mark can most certainly come in for his treatment however he will have to pay the full copay due for his visit which is $384.50.  In order for Mrs. Fisher to qualify for the payment plan she must put down 50% of the balance.   We have been sending statements since 03/31/2021 and have not yet received payment in full.  If Mrs Fisher is entering a payment agreement she must also be the one to sign the payment plan agreement.  I have attached a few guidelines in reference to the criteria that qualifies a patient for a payment plan.

I would like to add that I was the person that spoke with Mark in the billing department.  Per your note the patient stated the billing team was rude and threatening so he received a wawa gift card.  I am not sure if you are aware but if a patient has a balance that is 90 days over due they receive a final notice letter.  At this point the patient's appointments are removed from the schedule.   We will not continue treatment if a patient refuses to pay the balance.  I also informed Mr. Fisher that if they could not pay the balance off we should not continue treatment.  He stated he could not afford to pay the b

I’m a big believer in The Dead Bedroom Fix book and everything you teach, but I have one big thing that keeps bugging me and I don’t know how to properly address it.

When my wife and I first met, we were all over each other. I have never felt that kind of connection with another woman, ever. We connected emotionally as well as sexually. Everything clicked into place. I knew after a month of dating that it would never get better than her. I know this is called the “honeymoon phase”, but this lasted about five years! We did everything you can imagine together. We traveled. We partied. We even had threesomes with other women. Obviously, this was the greatest time of my life.

Then we got married and had kids. EVERYTHING changed.

That’s why I got your book. I realized that I was falling asleep at the wheel and did pretty much everything wrong to try and get the energy back into our marriage. My brother got a rejection from Developmental Services Ontario. The caseworker said that his IQ scores and adaptive functioning scores were too high. The official note I received says that "he did not establish that you have an intellectual disability." He was diagnosed with level 3 autism when he was very young, had an IEP, is on ODSP and has never worked.

I'm given the option to appeal, but I could use some help/suggestions on how to approach the appeal. Is there an angle that would be best? Are there certain things I should highlight? Has anybody been through this process? Thank you.

Hello all. I have a Celestron Nexstar 8SE with the alt-az mount it came with. I'm looking at two different EQ mounts (EQ6R-PRO is one of them, the other is one that is rated at just as much payload weight and is also belt driven for $1000 vs $1700, can't remember the name). This is not a question of which mount, I just want to add that I am getting an equatorial mount. My question is which camera to get. I am looking at one shot color cameras. I am looking at the zwo 533MC pro, the zwo 294mc pro and the zwo183MC Pro. The 183 has the best resolution at 20 megapixels, but the smallest pixel size at 2.4 microns. The 533 has 9 megapixels with 3.76 micron pixels and a square sensor at 1 in (11.31 mm x 11.31 mm). The 294 shoots at 11.7 megapixels, 4.63 micron pixel size, and 19.1x13 mm sensor. The 183 has a 15,000 e well, the 533 has a 50,000 e well, and the 294 has a 63,700e well. Frame rate and QE percentages are comparable across all three. My problem is that I don't know the math with a 2000 mm focal length at f/10 which pixel size would work best. Any advice is welcome. Thank you.
