appears throughout the whole song, but you can hear it most clearly in the first half. i realize this is likely mostly effects and it sounds like 3-4 synths layered but i'm new to synthesis and was really fascinated by these sounds and how to recreate something similar. thanks

Circa 1974, Roger mentioned that one of his favorite authors was Jack Kerouac. In one of Kerouac's poems, October in the Railroad Earth, you might notice this line, "It was the fantastic drowse and drum hum of lum mum afternoon..." Reminiscent of Drowse's "It's the fantastic drowse of the afternoon Sundays..." :)
