A list of puns related to "Domiciliary"
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think currently we can Transfer dollars from one DOM account to another (or can we?)
I think it will be nice to be able to do this even if it's just within Nigeria
The title says it all. Basically, my client uses Hubstaff which in turn uses PayPal or Wise to pay contractors. Obviously, PayPal is not an option here.
I want to receive dollars on Wise and transfer it to my Nigerian domiciliary account. Is this possible?
Hi all, I'm an optometrist practicing in the UK in a multiple. I'm considering a changes, I've been full time practicing for about 2 years. Possibly considerimg domiciliary, in the UK the salaries seem substantially higher, I'm not too sure why though? I think it would definitely a refreshing change compared to the past 4 years of working in retail optics.
I'm keen to know what's it actually like working as domiciliary optometrist?
More specifically, any UK based optoms here working in Dom care ?
What are the positives/negatives?
What are your personal experiences? We're they good/bad?
I'd be grateful for any feedback from my fellow clinicians as I feel like I'm kind of at a cross roads as to what do next . I don't want to be stuck in the same retail practice for several years due to getting too comfortable- not that there's anything wrong with that!
I can't seem to find much info online either.
One thing to note, salary is important for me, I love working and testing patients but with the pandemic alot of my family members are out of work and I've become kind of the main earner in my household.
I just found out that there is a camera recording staff at a service-user's home. I'm not sure whether it is a live feed but I am sure we are being recorded at the very least.
The family have cited burglaries as the reason for installing the cameras (recently there had been a robbery a few houses down).
We, the staff, have not been informed nor have we given our consent for that matter.
Is it legal to record us and what action can I take against this?
I feel that my privacy is being attacked and I am most definitely not comfortable being watched by the mother/father of the service-user.
All help is welcome. Thanks
Hello,
We are based in England, My MIL, lives alone, is fully bed bound, to the point of needing a mechanical hoist to assist her to an electric wheelchair/toilet.
She has just received a demand (verbally) from the care company for Β£2000 in arrears for care. Up until recently, she was paying Β£20 a week towards the costs, as this is what she was previously told.
This has in recent months been upped to Β£500 a month. There has been no substantial changes in her income (still receiving the same benefits) or circumstances.
The only change I can think of is around a year ago, her ex husband came out of a long term hospital stay (severe stroke) and stayed on "trial" for a month, he was then put into a care home as the care needed was far higher than the company were able to provide.
However, both the care company and LA are aware of the situation.
The only thing I can possibly think of is they're(LA and Care company) are under the assumption that they're still married (divorced amicably over 15 years ago).
All she keeps being told by the care company is its based off assessments from the LA for which, the care company filled the forms out on the MIL's behalf. No one seems to want to give her answers.
Something doesn't seem right with this, she's tried phoning her social worker, she's tried phoning the care company and keeps getting fobbed off.
