A list of puns related to "Dearborn"
What do you think?
Iβve been checking the real estate in Chicago for months and itβs been pretty normal until today. Today there was like 10 apartments dumped for sale on Dearborn and Division right near the old shitadel.
My sister who is a real estate agent tells me they were are owned by a private financial fund whoβs headquarters were nearby but since relocated to.. you guessed itβ¦ NEW YORK.
Coincidence? Me thinks not.
Iβll be in the area over the holidays, and I finally want to check out the food!
Currently an older new med student at Wayne looking to potentially buy a house and raise a family. So looking at suitable places nearby Detroit, as I'll be here for a very long time for work/training in the Detroit area. I'm on the edge on whether to move to Dearborn or Hamtramck, leaning less on Ham. due to deteriorating houses (risk of depreciation) and noise. I don't have any family members in Hamtramck, however, I am Bengali, so I feel the vibe there. Wondering if someone in the areas can give me more insight on where to move. Looking at future growth, appreciation, diversity, and education in the areas.
Feel free to suggest any other rising areas that I could look into close to commuting distance to Detroit. Other possible areas people have suggested are Warren, Ferndale, Royal Oak, but I don't have any knowledge on these areas. Thanks!
Just what the title says. Some info for context:
Ready to live on my own. Just gonna be me. Looking for at minimum 1/1, hoping with some utilities included and hoping to get a cat one day.
Budget < 950 Am contacting places and planning to move in 1-2 months after a viewing, and am willing to wait out a few more months if needed for availability. This will be my starter apartment if thereβs such a thing
So yeah... Basically WSDOT is currently doing a whole reconfiguration to the downtown northbound section between Seneca where they are realigning the dedicated lane for Seneca street into another general purpose lane for I-5 and REALLY utilizing the space given to them when the freeway was constructed in the 1960s. As a result during the impacts of construction and realignment, they have added an extra lane to the bottleneck section of the I-90 collector-distributor right before it enters I-5.
I'm kinda mad because basically by doing this, they have created an incredibly dangerous blind merge into the C-D lanes from Dearborn and now I'm consciously avoiding it and finding other ways to get on I-5 elsewhere (Did this once and on my first attempt, I almost got into an accident). Anyone else angry about this?
I am 60% in 2nd TDA book (Iβve read. TMI, TLH, TID) and I cannot stand Zara. I havenβt hated a book character so much. Anyone else? I hope that by the end of the 2nd book she is exposed.

123NET Home Fiber Internet
Even if you're not in this area, still sign up. The more fiber spreads, the more they'll branch to new places.
I want fiber internet so bad. If you're fed up with WOW and Comcast this is how you beat it.
Edit: Holy snaps, it's 10 gig
I'm spending the next weekend in Dearborn, any suggestions on what to do or best Middle Eastern restaurants?
Thank you everyone for the response, I really enjoyed Al-Ameer food. I also was suggested an Iraqi sea food restaurant, does anyone know it's name?
