My argument is: 1) King David wasn’t an Apostle chosen to “save humanity” (like Naason). 2) King David confessed, shredded his cloths and embarrassed himself in front of God, and God did punish him with the life of his child. 3) Old laws, which Jesus came to change. Those laws do not apply anymore.
Question for those who read the bible: If God sent Jesus to save us by amending the old laws, could it be safe to say God changed his mind? The bible says God does not change his mind, and everything is predestined, why set laws that will not work, and years later need to be demolished? Many people were judged and killed in horrific ways, like crucified or stoned, because of the laws.

In Lynch's recent Vice interview regarding the stay at home quarantine, his biggest advice to everyone was to go take TM, explicitly mplying that other forms of meditation, including mindfulness are inferior.
I would usually trust the ancient words of the Buddha more than my favorite film director, who lauds TM, but this leaves me confounded. David Lynch claims that he doesn't wear the clown suit of stress anymore. I assume he implies that he's usually a happy person, even if his work gets in your head and makes you depressed.
His work impresses me on a profound level, yet I personally have felt my meditation habits, as is, have been adequate in making me creative, though it's not the main purpose of vipassana.
If TM would make me more happy, and creative like him, then I'm sure you understand that I have thoughts of dabbling into TM. Yet I always assumed TM was a pyramid scheme. But since one of the world's greatest artistic minds says that only TM is the real deal, I'm sure you'd understand why I feel I'm at a spiritual crossroads.
