To further explain, my university's school of nursing recently decided that they were going to select one student per semester to nominate for a Daisy award. Anyone can nominate a student, and the one that is picked gets the fun little statue, pin, and certificate telling them how caring they are and blah blah blah...
Well, turns out the inaugural pick is someone I know who is an outspoken racist (has called president Obama a monkey on multiple occasions and refers to him as "Osama"), homophobe (her kids are homeschooled, and she frequently posts on social media how she will not allow the LGBT agenda affect her children's education), and most recently she has been extremely open about being against all vaccines and many modern medicines (protonix, midazolam, all statins ???!?, metoclopramide to name a few from recent posts).
To me, as a fellow student (in a different cohort), it's just extremely disheartening to see the university reward that kind of behavior. I do not believe that her views are shared by the board who made the decision, but that doesn't change the fact that they've validated a future nurse who doesn't even believe in basic pharmacology and has biases against a large swath of patients.
I want to say something to the school, but I also don't want to be looked at as a burdensome tattle tale. Should I just let this go?
I don’t want to criticize just for the sake of criticizing but there is something about Daisy that just.. irks me, I don’t know🤦🏻♀️ She literally has the same facial expression for 6 seasons straight, she has no body movements. I don’t know if I’m more upset about the character or about how the actor plays the character…

My baby girl passed today. Had to euthanize her because of cancer. She took a turn overnight. Hardest thing I’ve had to do.
I’ll miss her so much. I’m not sure what I’ll do without her. She helped me out of so many lows. I’m lost.

Did you see all the cameras in all the rooms? 30 in total! Even in the bathroom. And all the stains on the carpets??? Who lived here? Did anyone's parents used to party there back in its hey-day and have any stories to tell? I'm so intrigued... and it's pretty hilarious that the dad bought the house for his daughter. Love Mitchell!
