A list of puns related to "Czech National Revival"
>Running Man was classified as an "urban action variety"; a genre of variety shows in an urban environment. The MCs and guests were to complete missions at a landmark to win the race. The show has since shifted to a more familiar reality-variety show concept focused on games.

Yes, yes, you've heard right: European tank commanders will be giving orders in their native languages starting from the next update!
Already in 8.5, the "National Crew Voice" option will allow you to hear the crew communicating in Italian, Czech, Polish, and Finnish.
Also, the girl crews of all "Girls und Panzer" vehicles: Hetzer Kame SP, Tiger Kuromorimine SP, Firefly Saunders SP, and IS-2 Pravda SPβsimilarly to the Pz. IV Ankou SPβwill speak their native Japanese.
I think/wish/hope Finnish was a typo and they're talking about Swedish here.
The Day of National Revival (Milli DirΓ§ΙliΕ GΓΌnΓΌ) symbolizes the beginning of the national liberation movement for the Azerbaijani people in general with led to the formation of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan. As a result, Azerbaijan became an independent state in 1991 just 3 years after the historic demonstrations. Wikipedia
As part of my dabbling with music (amateur only), I sometimes like to practice mixing. To that end, I found a multitrack recording of Tchaikovsky's 6th symphony performed by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra and published on Archive.org by the Musopen project. The recording is public domain (or more accurately, Creative Commons 0), so it's legal to share the mix I made: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/3pgs4y1jytxz356/Tchaikovsky%20-%20Symphony%20Pathetique.zip?dl=0
Contained in the zip folder are four 48kHz/24bit FLAC files.
In case you're not familiar with the mixing process, the piece of music was recorded in a studio, in several takes, with over 32 different microphones. My task was to combine those recordings into one stereo audio file per movement. There was a bit of splicing different takes of audio, a lot of positioning audio in 3D space, and adjusting the dynamics of the different recordings so they mesh. And then a touch of reverb to glue it all together and make it sound lush. I took kind of a different route for positioning the audio. Typically audio tracks are just panned left or right. What I did was assign each microphone an altitude and azimuth bearing relative to the listener using AMBEO Orbit, which uses head-related transfer functions (fancy maths) to simulate the audio reaching your two ears from a point in 3D space.
For this project I was thankful to have good, consistent recordings and not too many takes to choose from (not much splicing needed). I thank the conductor, performers, and recording engineer(s) for that. I'm pretty pleased with how the mix turned out, but I'm willing to take constructive criticism. One thing I'll note that I had trouble with was making page turns less audible, but I avoided surgical edits for the most part for this, so I didn't try much to get rid of them.
You can find the original mix published by Musopen here: https://musopen.org/music/80-symphony-no-6-in-b-minor-pathetique-op-74/
This is a massive deal for me, because not only do I get to compete in the international round, but I also don't have to do entrance exams for linguistics at the university where I want to study anymore - they'll accept me based just on my performance! Wanted to share this with someone and this sub came to mind :)
What's something that brought you joy recently?
Hello, I'm making it a project of mine to mix high-quality copies of the symphonies for which Musopen has multitracks available. The recordings are released into the public domain by Musopen and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, so without further ado, here is Brahms' 4th symphony in 48kHz/24bit FLAC.
https://dl.dropbox.com/s/3tfydls0gp65i9h/Musopen%20Archive%20-%20Brahms%20Symphony%20No.%204.zip?dl=0
Headphones are recommended for the best experience as the mix uses some binaural processing to make it sound like you're right in front of the orchestra. But it sounds good on speakers, too. Enjoy!
Firstly, I apologize for mistakes I will probably made, english is my second language. Any help to improve this post is highly appreciated.
I haven't seen this case on this site or even in other language, so I decided to try my best and translate it so I can post it here. I am local, so this case is also known to me for a long time and I would like to honour victims by spreading knowledge about their unfortunate and very mysterious deaths. I will provide links to maps of every place. Unfortunately, sources are all in czech.
I will start with a little bit of background for this case:The year was 1987 and Czechslovakia (today Czech republic) was under communist government. This case happened on the north side of state (region ΓstΓ nad Labem) in one of the four national parks called Czech Switzerland. It's the smallest national park of them all, but definitely very beautiful and full of nature and impressive rocks. Area, where the incident occured, is near town HΕensko.
On 25th June 1987 three young people, Lenka V. (22 years old at the time of her death), her boyfriend Pavel H. (23 years old at the time of his death) and their friend Ing. Petr P. (26 years old at the time of his death) went on a camping trip into national park Czech Switzerland. They wanted to hike around some nice places and camp at nights. According to the graphologist, Pavel was above-average intelligent young man with normally developed feelings. He was also a little bit romantic. Lenka was young university student (her major was technology and chemisty), she was also very intelligent and had very good memory. Petr, the oldest of them, was film laboratory technician at Barrandov studios, described as very kind and popular young lad.
On 29th June 1987, around 4-5pm, they were seen by a witnes
... keep reading on reddit β‘Iβve noticed you can manage certain national teams depending on which leagues you load for your game. I have yet to find the right combination of leagues in which the Czech Republic is an option. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?
Hi everyone!
My flight to Spain is in a week and somehow I got panic if I would be allowed for entry into Spain? I've been living in Czech Republic for 2 years under student visa, fully vaccinated with the EU certificate. I'm applying for a different type of visa so now I hold Bridging Visa ( valid until 10/02 next year - so kind of like a long term visa? with multiple entries). I wonder if I can still travel to Spain for a visit with this Bridge visa I have. I'm from Vietnam, but I haven't been home since before COVID broke out fyi. Thank you in advance for any help/advice!!
My hobby is collecting statues of the historical/national warriors of the countries I travel to
Already got a redcoat from England, a legionary from Italy, and a hoplite from Greece, so I'm looking for something in this spirit
Czechs, what first comes to your mind? Medieval knight (maybe some more specific)? Crusader?
P.S. Vojak Svejk is not really what I'm looking for :D
