Oraface SG Facewash {Derm recommended}
Usage: 1 year + {not using currently}
Active ingredients: Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Tranexamic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide, Vitamin A.
Brief review: Its is a foaming facewash with a good active ingredient list, helped my breakout considerably when I started using this and it did not react to any active serums that i used post cleansing. I used this in the AM. Doesnβt react with tret creams. Loved using this although fragrance can be a downside.

Ahaglow S Foaming Facewash {self bought}
Usage: 2 months {currently using in the AM}
Active Ingredients: Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid
Brief review: Bought this because i was tired of purchasing 50ml small bottles of foaming facewash since this was available in a 100ml pack. The ingredients are ok. Not as good as oraface. The pump is wasteful and more product is wasted than used. Didnβt cause breakouts. Decent face wash.

Cetaphil oily skin facewash {self bought}
Usage: 2 years + {currently using in the PM}
Brief review: Absolutely in love with this product. Holygrail face wash, can always rely on this face wash. I first started using this when I first started breaking out and this delivered well. I still use it in the PM only to avoid actives overload.
>WRP. Holy grail.
Toners
Simple kind to skin toner {self bought}
Usage: 4 months {not using currently}
Active Ingredients: Niacinamide, witch hazel
Brief review: Decent, beginner friendly toner. I loved using it and so did my friends after purchasing it on my recommendation. The witch hazel was the right amount so it did not strip off my skin. It also had some moisturising ingredients because my face did feel supple after use. Although since the production has begun in India and someone said the quality of the moisturiser has deteriorated so did not repurchase.

History and Background of Cucumber Farming
Cucumber, Cucumis sativus, is part of the Cucurbitaceae family and is thought to have originated in Nepal.
Cucumbers are frost sensitive and are cultivated in the open or in greenhouses, depending on the type.

Hey! All clinique products are fragrance free so I'm wondering what ingredient makes this smell so amazing:
Water\Aqua\Eau , Bis-Peg-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane , Butylene Glycol , Glycerin , Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract , Hypnea Musciformis (Algae) Extract , Gelidiella Acerosa Extract , Hordeum Vulgare (Barley) Extract\Extrait D'Orge , Padina Pavonica Thallus Extract , Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seedcake , Sucrose , Caffeine , Sodium Hyaluronate , Hydroxyethyl Urea , Hydrolyzed Rice Extract , Sorbitol , Sodium Polyaspartate , Ppg-6-Decyltetradeceth-30 , Ethylhexylglycerin , Propylene Glycol Dicaprate , Caprylyl Glycol , Trehalose , Polysorbate 80 , Carbomer , Sodium Hydroxide , Hexylene Glycol , Citric Acid , Sodium Citrate , Disodium Edta , Phenoxyethanol
It smells like fake tangerine, maybe a little grapefruit in there. It also has that distinct note of hair styling product like a hair gel or hairspray. Ethylhexylglycerin/phenoxyethanol preservative blend alone smells floral, a bit like geranium or rose. Any ideas?
Cucumber seeds treated with catechol, gallic acid, and pyrogallic acid all have biphasic effects on the phenolic content of the plant.^([1]) I edited table 3 to show only the necessary information, which can be found here. As you can see, 5x10^^(-5) moles of catechol increases the phenolic content of cucumbers by a whopping 55%. This doesn't say much more than putting chemicals on plants causes reactions, but it's probably the most basic evidence that this is a subject which needs to be studied. Imagine how many compounds are locked behind a single enzyme. For example, if petunia, a very very common flower, had higher peroxidase activity, then it would produce significant amounts of licarin A, an organic atypical cannabinoid. This is because petunia contains isoeugenol,^([2]) a direct biological precursor to licarin A.^([3]) The key to unlocking the biosynthesis of licarin A in petunia? Maybe with some hydrogen peroxide supplementation, or maybe if given a peroxidase inducer, say cardiolipin, it would start to produce licarin A. It's unknown right now which of these or a combination is necessary, but it's definitely possible. All it takes is someone deciding to trial some compounds with a part of the plant (seeds, leaves, flowers, fruit, you name it) to create something great. This is just one single example. If you want to get started learning about this, my suggestion would be to learn about shikimate pathways and obsess over which plants contain what. This will give you a very well-rounded idea of who does what and allow you to make deductions based on that.

What do you think is causing a mild flare?
Iβm trying to pin point what is causing my skin to get irritated. I noticed my skin was irritated this morning.
Last night I wore a bb cream/tinted moisturizer(Purito) Iβve worn it a few times before and Iβm not sure if this is the product that is causing problems because I also used Bioderma (pink cap) micellar water and I noticed a cooling?/maybe the slightest sting? When taking of my makeup. I usually use this only around my eyes, but this time used it all over my whole face.

This is honestly one of the better sunscreens I have tried (ive only tried Neutrogena dry touch and this). Tbh, before buying i saw some bad reviews of the sunscreen on this sub but the ingredient list sucked me in along with the boot star rating.
I first tested a little bit on my hand and guys, let me tell you the texture is AMAZING. Its soooooo fucking light and sinks in the skin beautifully, it also feels a little cold when i apply it. After that hand application I moved onto my face and it pilled so badly, i was very, very, very disappointed. But I had already spent my money though and I was determined to make it work.
I tried a few different methods of application and one application technique worked!!!! I was estatic to say the least. The sunscreen is very lightweight, has NO whitecast, looks beautiful under makeup and looks amazing on the skin. It does look dewy on the skin but doesn't make me feel like a greaseball like the Neutrogena one. Dries fairly okayish so need to set with powder in order for hair to not stick. Although, sometimes i don't follow the technique and it pills in certain areas but the makeup covers the mishaps if the pilling is minute.

What are your thoughts about him and this line overall? I watched a few of his videos but I can't quite decide if If he is genuine. The line is supposedly cruelty-free and fragrance-free. He stated he wants to be as transparent as possible and the ingredients in products look alright for the price which is quite affordable. It is especially nice to see another azelaic acid product, which hopefully won't have the horrible gritty texture every AZA product has.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Hello everyone! Recently I've come across this professional product line called APIS, I believe they originate from Poland, and they sell products for beauty salons and at home usage. They have all sorts of toners, masks, and serums that are made to address different skin issues (acne, dehydration, rosacea, fine lines, etc..).
I couldn't find many reviews on the products or brand unfortunately, so I wanted to ask the people in this sub that are more knowledgeable/experienced than me about a second opinion. Or maybe spread the word about them so that others can find something that suits their needs.
The products I found interesting:
Cleansing Tonic with Mandelic Acid
Aqua, Glycerin, Mandelic Acid, Hydrolyzed Silk, Aloe Extract, Hydrolyzed Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum, Xanthan Gum, D-panthenol, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Almond Oil Cosmetic (Olus Oil), Parfum.
Acne Stop Face Cleansing Antibacterial Toner
Aqua, Glycerin, Green Tea Extract, Propylene Glycol, Mimose Extract, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Kivi Extract, Aloe Extract, Algae Extract, Peg 40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Parfum.
Hydrogel Toner with Hyaluronic Acid
Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Linseed Extract, Cucumis Sativus Fruit Extract, Hydrolized Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum, Xantan Gum, D-Panthenol, Propylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Parfum.
Professional Hyaluron 4D + Argireline Peptide
Aqua, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol.
I found out about this brand after it was recommended in a skincare group I'm in, and I found the products on the website makeup.uk. I'm really interested in getting some of these as well as maybe a mask but I'm scared it could make my sensitive skin flare up.
Thank you <3
