This is the code I have so far for day 22 of 2021. I'm currently getting massive negative numbers for volume for this so I'm looking for a sanity check at this point if the approach I'm spending all this time on is even viable.
The basic approach is this: for each cuboid in the input, collect the intersections between it and all previously seen cuboids and store these as subcuboids of each previously seen cuboid. Additionally, store the intersections between each new cuboid and all subcuboids of previously seen cuboids.
Then, at the end, filter to only the "on" top-level cuboids, take the volume of each and recursively subtract the volume of all subcuboids within each. I think this approach handles overlapping intersections.
Is this approach viable? Is there just some minor tweak I need to my current implementation to get this working, or do I need to go back to the drawing board?

Requiem Of A Pickaxe was formed as an adult community, rooted in Modded Minecraft. We decided to form a community that was 18+ from day one which eventually moved to 21+, and we’re quite happy with the result. The regulars have been playing together for years, and are always happy to see new faces - it’s easy for you to get to know them too, just join voice and start up a conversation!
Minecraft is our bread and butter...
The community is rooted in Modded Minecraft, and in the beginning we played almost exclusively minecraft. We stay true to our roots, and on the average weeknight you can usually choose between two or more different modpacks to play on. There’s always a long term pack which stays around for a few months, and one or two seasonal modpacks that our members showed interest in.
… But there are plenty of other options, too!
However, as we’ve grown we’ve found more common interests, and there’s many other games played. Titles such as Rocket League, Ark, Golf With Your Friends, Space Engineers, Overwatch, Call Of Duty 4, Sven Co-op and many more are regular occurrences. This helps quite a lot with the infamous “minecraft fatigue”. Even if you’re coming fresh from an intensive period of gaming and are sick of Minecraft for the moment, you can still join voice and see if there are any other games being played.

The admin team run a community-funded dedicated server which allows us to be flexible with what kind of game servers that are available at any time. Minecraft, Ark, Space Engineers, Call Of Duty 4 and more are regulars. If you have a request and there’s some interest, it’s usually possible to accommodate. This makes it a lot more fun for everyone. Their are quite a few tech-people who have their own servers too, and sometimes they offer up an interesting game to play there.
Who are we looking for? First and foremost, you have to be at least 21 years old. We appreciate positive, driven people and consider them very valuable for the well being of the community. As the title suggests I rly like packs with progression based on reaching a final goal using all the items and mods you use throughout the way. Looking for one that is either only tech-based or heavily tech-based as the only magic I rly enjoy is botania. Any suggestions are welcome and thanked!
Hey everyone, I’m new here 33/f. I just learned a month ago that I have an atypical coalition between the navicular and cuboid bones of my left foot; over 50% bony. When I Google it online I find articles that are like “10 reported cases of this…” 😳🦄🤔 Anyone familiar with this? /In the same boat?
It’s so interesting to learn this bc I’ve had ankle pain since I was 12. The coalition just wasn’t diagnosed. One of the pain patterns that manifests is this “pulling” sensation on the top left side of my ankle. Almost like it’s loose and falling off a bit; unstable. I also periodically have a sharp pain in the arch of my foot (esp when I step on a rock or uneven surface). And then general swelling, pain, discomfort when I stand for too long (arthritis). More recently trouble walking up inclines (which might be due to an os trigonum/ extra bone in back of my heel - just learned about too 😛🦶).
I had my first cortisone shot 2 weeks ago. No significant changes yet, if anything more tender lately but I’m holding out hope. I’m about to get surgery on a labral tear and impingement in my hip (muh whole leg is like - “heal me!”) so will start there.
The orthopedic surgeon who’s working on my foot is super competent and specialized but I don’t feel 100% with him. I tried to get a read on if he’s psyched about an atypical case or burdened by it (“you excited?!”😬🥳). He used the word “weird” to describe my case and was like “you never want a doctor to use the word weird” 😂😅
Can someone please help me figure out what is wrong with my server I'm trying to setup for a few friends. This server will run on my minecraft server in my house that is seperate from my gaming computer. It will open the cmd and look like it is starting the server then it will crash.
