Does anyone know how to get rid of benthic ctenophores other than manually removing them?
So I had a benthic cnetophore pop up probably a month back or so. It mustโve come on a frag. Anyways, the population steadily increased and I would manually remove them near my corals as needed, but recently (past two days or so) I found myself removed 20+ and there being even more the next morning/day. Iโm positive of their ID and understand theyโre supposedly harmless, but their โtentaclesโ do piss off my corals from time to time and with so many now, it has become frequent and doesnโt look great in my tank. Any ideas? TIA!

Iโm a third year zoology student currently studying an evolutionary biology module. My lecturer briefly mentioned this in a recent lecture on sexual selection. She said that there hasnโt been much research done on it and we still donโt understand why it occurs.
Does anyone have any extra insight into this?
