A list of puns related to "Condé Nast Publications"
Can we all take a moment to go way back to 2006, is it a coincidence that a few months before Advance Publications (through a subsidiary) purchasing Reddit the Maxwell Hill Account was created and started swaying the focus of Reddit from a nerdy site where the majority of positing were science and coding to a news site?
[Edit] Maxwell hill constituted 30% of world news and other subreddits with clear directional change in topic/market reach.[Edit]
Advance Publications (Owned by the Newhouse Family) own Tatler (the foremost British socialite magazine), Vanity Fair (the 2003 article being dropped) and various other magazines for high society and fashion including Condé Nast (the original purchasers of Reddit).
The details of some Condé Nast executives is in Epstein’s Black book. Do we know if Maxwell or Epstein have any other associations with the Newhouses?
[Edit] given the connections she had to Condé Nast it also doesn’t discount it being her but it also doesn’t add any proof... just another lead to possibly explore in the saga.
I think the potential connections between this user, Conde Nast and wider publications (specifically those like Tatler) need more insight. They are the reporters of her and Jefferys world and so there could be more to it.
IMO this user is likely connected to Reddit/Conde Nast/advance publications in some way. They have for years been directing what gets to the top of Reddit and what doesn’t. Reddit in #20 news source in the world. Could Reddit be paying “shadow editors” pretending to be community run?
This powerful user has opened a Pandora’s Box of questions about Reddit and the way in which it’s website operates, and I’m sure the powers that be at Reddit have already begun work on the companies official explanation.
The reason being not if Ghislaine is behind this power-player online; but what, if anything Reddit knows about not only Maxwellhill but other powerful mods who seemingly appear out of this air and quickly gain vast followings and large community mod powers.
Alternatively if Maxwell and Epstein knew through connections that Reddit was being bought by Conde Nast (and associated publications) who had an idea to turn into a news collation site they may have had prior knowledge as to the intentions for growth and market projection. So it could be Ghislaine and Epstein working unilaterally to “piggy back” and influence some of how news stories disseminate online.
I know a lot of this borders on conspiracy a
... keep reading on reddit ➡My suggestion is that they be updated and possibly a link to "Who is Reddit, Inc" added to the footer with, at minimum, a link to the /r/blog announcement regarding Reddit, Inc.
Really confused about something in AYITL. Rory is repeatedly trying to get a meeting with Condé Nast. At the end of episode 2 we see her ask Logan to ask his dad to pull some strings to finally make it happen.
In the scene that follows, we’re in a magazine office in NYC. Due to the sequence of scenes, you just kind of assume this is the big Condé Nast meeting. Only then Rory says it’s for GQ, tells her mom it’s NOT for CN when her mom asks, and then I think at some point in episode 3 Rory says something like “this is why Condé Nast won’t call me back.”
So was the GQ meeting totally separate? How did Rory get a meeting there? If it’s meant to be totally separate it doesn’t make sense from a viewer’s standpoint.
