A list of puns related to "Computer Speaker"
For the past year Iβve been using a small bluetooth speaker but it gets annoying and sounds awful. Help me upgrade!
Budget is under $500.
Looking for powered speakers for a desktop computer. Room is 100sq ft. For music, netflix, and gaming!
Like eveyrone else, I have fallen down the rabbit hole over overwhelm-ment with numbers, brands, acronyms, reviews.. Looking for a great computer speaker set up for around $400 or less. It will be on my desk so not huge is important. I have read a bunch of reviews on some of these having a "hiss" problem that seems annoying. What would you take from the line up below, which seems to be all the top contenders?

Beginner here, I want to buy an audio interface so I can use reaper and amp sims however I have a concern. I have some basic Logitech speakers that plug in to my computer, I intend on using these as my output but I read somewhere that you need speakers that connect to the interface itself and that my speakers wonβt work, is this really the case? I donβt want to have to buy the speakers that can be plugged into the interface as I canβt afford it.
It's been years and years since I've had my current Logitech speaker setup for my desktop computer which is a basic unit consisting of a left/right speaker with small sub - and it suits my needs really well. Problem is that the sub now rattles when anything remotely low-end is played and it's pretty much reach the end of its life. Is Logitech still considered a good brand to buy or have any numbers of new companies come on the market and put out a superior product for similar or less $$?
Looking for any recommended speakers to use for a computer. Any brands or models to look out for on Facebook marketplace?
Budget between 250-500 Canadian.
I don't have an amp so I guess they'd need to be powered.
EDIT: Found a pair of Klipsch R51-PM for $400 Canadian. Thoughts on this price would be appreciated.
I wanted to get a 2.0 speaker setup for my computer (music/gaming/audio creation) and I already have a pair of KEF Q100 speakers, however, I don't have a speaker amp for them and my desk space is somewhat limited (55 1/8" x 23 5/8" with an ultrawide monitor).
I'm currently using Sennheiser HD 6XX headphones connected to a JDS atom+ stack.
I've been thinking of four different options:
Option 1: Getting an stereo AMP/home theater AVR for the Q100's
Option 2: Sell the Q100's for active monitors
Option 3: Swap out the Yamaha RX-V383 AVR in my living room setup (currently connected to my LG C1 OLED and a pair of Elac Uni-Fi UB5's in a 2.0 setup) and use that for my desktop setup along with the Q100's.
Option 4: Stick to using headphones with my computer and use the Q100's as surrounds for my living room setup (or just sell them if this doesn't make sense)
I have a scarlett 2i2 gen 1 by focusrite. This interface does not have its own power supply, nor do I use any equipment with it, it is stickily for the monitors. Im on a high performance laptop, so the power supply does not compare to a full desktop. When I boot my pc up the lights on my interface will flicker and then the sub will kick heavily and the speakers pop in a way that I assume is not optimal for their life span. Additionally, I have had having the sub and speakers turned on, and then booting up the pc give me a pc error before, requiring a pc restart. Im ignorant, so I cant say rightfully if the error message is from the power draw, but I feel like there is power being overdrawn which could in turn destroy my pc. Usually I turn my sub and speakers on after due to this. Then everything settles down into the norm, no driver issues or anything. However I dont always catch the sub switch before shutdown, and I dont wanna cause damage of course.
Is this something to be concerned about? Is there a way to keep the sub and speakers on before booting up that wont cause this? or do I just have to make sure to turn speakers on and off before boot up and shutdown?
Thank you to whom takes the time to read and reply. Cheers!
I bought a pair of the Edifier R1280T , and they are nice desktop speakers, but they can't be volume-controlled without the accompanying remote, and I'd like some speakers that can be controlled from my computer. Are there any options out there like this?
Hi all,
I donβt know much about audio setups.
Currently I have my laptop hooked up to two monitors with USB-C. Neither monitors have speakers so I get my audio from my laptop speakers. My monitors (Dell U2720QM) have an audio output jack.
Iβm thinking about getting this SMSL SA50 mini amplifier, and using these Dolby Atmos Speakers from Sony
Will this combination work? Iβm leaning towards these because theyβre small enough for my desk. I would also consider a sound bar. I feel like either would be a major upgrade from my laptop speakers. Let me know if you have alternative suggestions for speakers or amps. I prefer to stay under 200 dollars
So I've got an old set of fairly decent speakers and a sub to go with them. What's the smallest amp that will support them plus powering a sub?
I'm not sure if these exist but are there computer speakers that'll connect to my laptop via USB or Aduio Jack that are also Bluetooth compatible for connecting my iPhone to?
Just got the Boss GT1000. One of the things that attracted me to it is being able to load custom IRs for cabs. I was already heading towards using my Mesa with a load box/Cab IR and going DI into a PA system for live settings or my PC when tracking.
Has anyone tried bringing their amp via load box back into the Boss GT1000 to implement the GT's IR loader? Gonna research/experiment with it more later in the week when I have time.
Curious to hear what other people have tried so far.
I am looking for some recommendations for some good sub $500 computer speakers. I was previously using a set of Logictech computer speakers and wanted to upgrade.
I read good things about Audioengine, so I tried out the Audioengine HD4s and I am extremely disappointed. The bass is much worse them my old Logitech's. The sound is very muddled.
