A list of puns related to "Cobra Starship"
Which Gabe Saporta band was better? They seem almost opposite to each other so itβs intresting to see the results
I am trying to downsize before a move and am parting with some of my beloved pop punk merch- a Clandestine Industries Hemingway shirt, Folie a Deux era FOB sweatshirt, Viva la Cobra era Cobra Starship shirt, a t-shirt from the only Young Veins tour ever, and a PATD sweatshirt from when they brought back the !
Hoping these can all go to a good home- aka to a fellow pop punk kid. Listings are here: https://www.ebay.com/usr/wastanko0
In 2007 Fall Out Boy did performed with Cobra Starship and Gym Class Heroes are part of the Video Music Awards. I remember there being video of some of the songs so I looked it up to no avail. On the wayback machine I found this: http://web.archive.org/web/20070912063950/http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2007/ So apparently the whole thing was recorded online before.
The lists, as listed in Wikipedia, are as followed: Fall Out Boy β "Sugar, We're Goin Down" Rihanna featuring Fall Out Boy β "Shut Up and Drive" Fall Out Boy β "Thnks fr th Mmrs" Fall Out Boy β "Beat It"/"The Carpal Tunnel of Love" medley Fall Out Boy β Don't Matter Fall Out Boy β "Top Gun Anthem" Fall Out Boy featuring Lil Wayne and Brendon Urie β "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" Gym Class Heroes featuring Ne-Yo and Patrick Stump β "Clothes Off!!" Gym Class Heroes β "The Queen And I" Panic! at the Disco β "Nine in the Afternoon" Cobra Starship featuring William Beckett and Travie McCoy β "Bring It (Snakes on a Plane)" Cobra Starship β "The Church of Hot Addiction". Apparently the Cobra Starship performances have been lost.. this is the best I could find of either of the songs: https://cobrastarsludge.tumblr.com/post/632696073190768640/this-is-the-best-we-have-so-far (I couldn't figure out how to just paste video without the tumblr post)
Also, there was an MTV show called Call to Greatness where a group of friends tried to beat a bunch of different world records. I could find some segments but no full episodes.
A photo I took once my mask and cobra starship kandi was done a month or so ago, sorry for the low quality

Hey Guys! Thought I should share...Stumbled upon this website, Run Out Groove, that lets vinyl lovers vote on three vinyls to be pressed! So in other words, thereβs a chance to get a never before pressed title of your top artists or a repress. Right now theyβre allowing voting on Cobra Starshipsβs βWhile The Cityβ Sleeps and others.
Iβm a huge fan so please go and vote so the title can be released! Sn: it changes every month
Just noticed this today. It's because of the way the vocals are placed in the track, so that when both the left and right side are played through the same speaker (mono output), the two sides cancel each other out and you're left with the instrumental.
Just thought that was funny, since it's the only song that does it.
So I've been looking into Kenji Yamamoto's plagiarism and I haven't found any clear answers as to if the opening theme from Budokai 3's English version is stolen or derivative from somewhere. Likewise I've noticed a similarity to Cobra Starship's Guilty Pleasure in chord progression, leading me to wonder if the Budokai 3 theme was a plagiarization itself then it was re-plagiarized by Cobra or if it was actually somewhat original work that was ironically plagiarized by the band. Anyone know anything about these songs specifically? Origins of the chord progression or weather it's close enough to clearly say the band ripped it off? and was it one of the actual original compositions by Kenji that did somehow ironically get taken by someone else?
