A list of puns related to "Chinese Bakery"
Trying to see if there is a good Chinese bakery close by where I can pick up some coconut buns
Hello r/Vaughan! I am looking for recommendations for a Chinese bakery and a good dimsum spot in the general area. Thank you in advance!
Where is the Asian supermarket in Berlin which sells Chinese bakery in the basement? I completely forgot where it was since my last visit. I think it was a ground floor shop with a basement section, and possibly on small street for residential or mixed use zone, not on a busy commercial street, and maybe on the north side of the street (or possibly east or west with sunlight exposure). It was not a chain store. The baked goods are more of a southeastern or overseas Chinese variety instead of mainland Chinese.
Possibly in Moabit.
Thanks
Trying to find some red bean buns and hot dog buns at some place other than Nations.
The mid-autumn festival is coming up and I need to eat some moon cakes. Are there any good bakeries in town that make them?
Or do I have to go into Flushing?
Iโd prefer not to buy factory made ones in the grocery stores.
UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who made a recommendation! I went to Chinatown Sunday to get some. Serials details at https://www.reddit.com/r/philadelphia/comments/po4rry/mooncakes_in_chinatown_details_in_comments/
Hi, does anyone know of any Chinese bakeries around? Planning on heading over to Chinatown, but if someone could direct me instead of just wandering around, it would be much appreciated. I need a birthday cake.
Since the mid-autumn festival is happening, I was wondering about mooncakes...
Is majestic bakery still open? I moved from NYC and we used to have chinese foods every where. It's different now that Im in windsor. Im craving foods like pork bun, pineapple bun, egg custard, and noodle soup. Hard to find that around here. Any ideas? I'm willing to drive a bit further like essex and chatham for some bao
Edit:
Got some updates. It may be mid valley mega mall.

I know this may be a long shot, but here goes:
I went to Malaysia in 2012. My friend had brought me to a mall, but he's forgotten which mall it was! It's not any of the popular tourist ones like Sunway Pyramid, Suria KLCC, etc. It's possible it might not be in KL either.
My friend in lives in KL. I remember we had to drive pretty far. At the time, he said it's not a mall he normally goes to. We only went to that mall, because he'd did some research and there was a hair cut place he wanted to try out (he totally doesn't remember any of this).
While he had his haircut, I explored the mall and discovered a Chinese Bakery. I'd asked if I could take pictures, and they actually said no pictures allowed. All their buns looked so unique--fusion Chinese buns that I'd never seen before. We have fusion Chinese buns from where I am from, but not to their level.
So I bought a Black Sesame Liu Sha Bao. It was SO UNIQUE. The bun itself was black sesame flavor, and the custard was duck egg custard, BUT ALSO sesame flavored. It wasn't just a regular sesame paste bun. It was actually a Liu Sha Bao (but sesame flavor) where the custard leaked out when you take a bite.
I'm planning to visit Malaysia in the future, and I really want to go back to this bakery (that is if it still exists). But the problem is, I don't even know the name of this mall or the bakery. I know it's a long shot, but wondering if anyone can help me and suggest any places.
Other details:
It's possible it's not in KL. My friend lives in KL. It was a long drive, and he told me back then that it is out of the way and not a mall he would normally go to.
Bakery might had been on the 1st floor (BUT I could be completely wrong about this detail).
The bakery was not in a food court. It was store next to other stores I think. Not a stand.
It may be One Utama, or maybe not.
The bakery was pretty small inside I think. But then again, bakeries are pretty small to begin with.
If I had a picture of the interior or some of the buns, I might recognize it.
I think my friend had his haircut at one of the top floors (But could also be wrong about this detail)
It was a big spacious mall with lots of people. The stores were not cramped like Plaza LowYat.
I grew up in Flushing and seriously miss the baked goods and coffees from Fay Da and Tai Pan Bakery. Gauging the interest here on trying to convince a Chinese bakery to open in Astoria -- who's with me??
I had to trek all the way to West 4th to get this supply!
