Had a 15-min phone screen. Last question (like they think people won't catch on to this) was about salary expectations, but first she negged me about my experience and employment gap. I just told her I didn't have a number for her because it depended on information I don't have yet. Let the chips fall where they may.
This is a tiny startup about 6-7 years old. I've sussed out from LinkedIn that they hire new grads and churn through them quickly. I'm not entirely sure why they called me since I am not young, but it might be because of some specific knowledge I have from one of my old jobs that happens to be relevant to the project they're hiring for.
Anyway, it was just gross and I'm glad it's over. I'm so sick of this.

Unless, of course, you truly believe that the company you're moving to has the potential to experience explosive growth that will make you far more money than you ever could have by staying put 🤑
