A list of puns related to "Chantry"
The falmer, slaughtered, blinded, twisted, cursed, betrayed, forgotten. For millennia they have been alone in the dark, only accompanied by a darker creature, the chaurus, far away in the depths
Until they found the Forgotten Vale, shrouded in mysteries, we only know that they slaughter every snow elves in the chantry of Auri-El. Except Gelebor, Vyrthur and some other who might have fled.
Letβs focus on Gelebor first, he is the one guarding the Chantry for millennia. By his sacred oath, he is devoted to his duty. Might he be an avatar of Auri-El, a great mage in restoration or protected by Auri-El is not the debate of the date. I just want to point something out.
Firstly he explains how the chantry works, with the wayshrine and the initiate. About the prelates, he is saying βThrough the grace of Auri-El they were restored to their spectral form to enable them to continue their duties.β Then he is speaking of the βmeaningβ of the wayshrine: βThey represented the steps the Initiates took on the path to total enlightenment.β
Letβs just stop here to make a comment. Why would Auri-El return his prelate to a spectral form if there is no more snow elf to accomplish the journey? Just asking.
Moving to the next part of Gelebor speech. He is speaking of the first wayshrine, the wayshrine of illumination: βThe first lay at the end of Darkfall Passage, a cavern that represents the absence of enlightenmentβ
This one might be the most important of the fiveβs, because this is the start of the journey to enlightenment. How can you know the path if you donβt even start?
One the way to the first wayshrine you will find something particular. A skeleton with hands on his head and some shiny blue stone. It is in the center of a few tents, and itβs quite unique. Doesnβt it look like it's depicting something or someone? Auri-El himself, the crown represented by the hands of the skeleton. Skeleton https://imgur.com/IKrEE9E Auri-El: https://imgur.com/vnzDnfC
When you finally find the first wayshrine and get out of the cave, you can see an extended metaphor. The Platoβs cave. The wayshrine is the fire, everything else is fake, the only truth is outside.
Moving on, now letβs focus on the four other wayshrines. Sight, Learning, Resolution and Radiance. They know the illumination, they climb out of the cave of ignorance and now they start a new world. Near their father, Auri-El.
It looks like they know
... keep reading on reddit β‘Do you think we will be able to unit the Imperial Chantry of Tevinter Imperium with the Andrastian Chantry (based in Val Royeaux) during or at the end of Dragon Age 4 ?
We know that we can choose Leliana as a new divine of Andrastian Chantry and that she gives freedom to mages.
We also know that Tevinter Imperium as a whole will be one of the main locations in Dragon Age 4, so it is very likely that we can as a protagonist decide in some way the political future of Tevinter Imperium.
Also, do you think it is possible that both Andrastian and Imperial Chantry unite and proclaim Exalted March on the Solas when he shows in full power, aided by the Forgotten Ones ?
Let me know what you think.

I just can't bring myself to say it. They'll always be Castle Mall and Chapelfield to me....
After exploring the lore and reading a bit of Tevinter Nights, it seems like the Mortalitasi have almost as much free reign in Nevarra as the mages in Tevinter.
Is this true or do the Chantry and Templars still regulate magic in the country?

Theres a lot of books, and even more rituals for the Tremere. While white wolf wiki is a good source to look at it sometimes leaves out crucial information. So if you could can somebody list some good rituals used to protect chantries? Preferably with what book and page they come from as well.
Thanks to anyone that helps in advance!
I am starting a table top Tremere Only game. They are being sent to Indianapolis IN, USA, the city we are playing in to see what happened to the last Chantry that was there in 2007. It was burned down. Something happened.
I am taking ideas for what happened. How did the Chantry get destroyed? What will they find when they get there? Looking for ideas/suggestions for what I might throw at them going in. Anything juicy that people who don't like Tremere would like to see then come across when they did through the ashes?
In the ending slide it says that the dwarves didnβt like the chantry and killed brother Burkel causing the chantry to consider going to war with the dwarves
The dpw website says 'emergency vehicles only' for both of these, but I drove by mt wilson road the other day and it looked like it was only closed to vehicles, not hikers/cyclists.

Anyone know for sure? Would love to do them both without cars.
Purely by cheating? I say this because Iβm playing as a different clan. I tried doing the G.Regent_Family = 3 but that one did not work
Anyway to get the chantry as a different clan? I think I saw something about a cheat code for forcing dialogue outcomes but havenβt been able to find it again
We are the Akatosh Chantry part of the Akatosh Empire and we are looking for a new member.
Are you looking to improve at pve and pvp?
Are you fed up with being in a clan that never talks?
Then we are the guild for you.
What we ask is that you take part in arena weekly and that you join our discord. We have some very experienced players that will help you improve, so it will definitely be very beneficial for.
We are currently ranked 21 after some of our strongest members migrated to our more competitive branch, the Akatosh Empire ranked 6. Hence a wealth of information is available 24/7. If we have an open position in the Akatosh Empire, we will recruit within our own Akatosh Family first. So there is always a chance to move up the ranks for more competitive or casual play.
The clan is Europe based but we have members from all over the globe, if you are interested send in a application or preferably pm me here first as I would like to get to know you a bit better first.
PS: Feel free to get in touch with me even if that guild is currently full. Iβll see what we can do :)

Yes, Anders. Apostate Enchanter, healer, ex-Grey Warden.
Just think about it from a huge Tevinter population perspective if they know rumors about him...
PS. Remember that Tevinters live separate from south Thedas by "iron curtain" and not know much about south Thedas "barbarians" as majority of south Thedas people know almost nothing about Tevinters "blood mages overlords and their slaves" except propaganda info heavily censored by Orlais Chantry.
1)As Andraste he was born in Ferelden too, was from ordinary farmers lived in small village, believed in Maker and was beloved by village until was "blessed by Maker" turned into mage and was separated from his village by Templars.
2)Was imprisoned by "heretical" Orlais Chantry-Templars into concentration camp where he suffered with all innocent mages for a decade, run many times and not harm anyone as avoided tranquil or execution.
3)Run away from concentration camp in time of 5 blight to protect common Ferelden people and become a Grey Warden, save Amarantine/Keep, even have small amount of Andraste ashes with him.
4)Run into Kirkwall where "heretical" Orlais Chantry with Templars oppressed common Kirkwall people and mages.
5)Was helping Kirkwall Champion to banish "heretical" Qunari from city.
6)Spend decade by living with poor Kirkwall people and Ferelden refugees, heal them for free and "praying"(spread propaganda) for freedom of oppressed mages from "heretical" Orlais Chantry and Templars.
7)After decade of living as a poor healer he "cant not look at mages as Kirkwall people suffering anymore" and blow up "heretical" Orlais Chantry Templars lyrium storage and phylacteries storage, and spark mages rebellion on south.
8)After blowing Kirkwall "heretical" Chantry he "have worshipers" in Kirkwall as Starhaven Prince claim and who try to do crusade against Kirkwall to get rid from people who venerated Anders
Not to mention that he in Kirkwall could die-be executed by Kirkwall Champion dagger into his back who would with Templars kill all innocent mages who Anders try to save.
Or Anders with Kirkwall Champion could protect all Kirkwall innocent mages from hordes of "heretical" Templars.
Imagine Maker worshipers in Thedas would now have a branch of Anderstians now who believe not only in a Holy Maker, his prophets as Andraste, Archon Hessarian but into "saint" Anders too.
Or are they just filler?
Depending on your answer, whatβs the justification for so? The Templars have openly denounced the Chantry, and the mages are rebelling against it.
