A list of puns related to "Cece"
I feel like south Asians are always portrayed as undesirable and it was kinda comforting seeing a half Indian actress play the pretty friend.
The casting for young cece is RIDICULOUSLY accurate does anyone know if theyβre related in someway or is it just crazy good casting?
There i said it ! but in all honesty i love jess and ceceβs friendship but winston and cece make me belly laugh so much !
The scene after Cece calls off her wedding and Elizabeth confirms it's Schmidt she was talking about it complete BS.
Elizabeth didn't need to ask that and, while she was right Cece loving Schmidt wasn't something she should apologize for, it's total BS that they both demanded to know who Schmidt picked right then.
I liked Elizabeth so much and hate that she got such a crappy story line that made Schmidt so so so shitty. I wish the writers had been more creative and given her a good chance.
But seriously, in the middle of the wedding break up was not the time to demand Schmidt make a choice. Especially after he'd stated multiple times that he was really enjoying being with Elizabeth.
I just love how everyone elseβs virginity story was absolutely disastrous (especially Jessβs story) and then you have Cece that like βyeahhh I had sex with Mick Jagger.β
Iβm rewatching this part of the series now and feel like Iβm seeing it in a new light. I still donβt think Schmidtβs behavior was acceptable, but there was a perfect storm brewing that made this happen.
Cece never wanted to marry Shivrang and Schmidt knew it, even before seeing her at the wedding. Cece was scared and in denial her entire courtship with Shivrang, she never fully warms up to him, but Jess never clocks it because sheβs so caught up with Nick. Schmidt is the only other person paying attention, he knew something was wrong when no one else did and he went a little crazy trying to protect her.
And when he does go crazy, his friends tell him repeatedly to get over it and let Cece go. Once he finally accepts that loving Cece is a lost cause, he finds love with Elizabeth again. Heβs in this odd transition period of realizing he doesnβt want to be a fuckboy anymore, but his insecurities about his looks and worth make him unable to accept that someone would love him for him. Losing Cece reinforced the idea that heβs not good enough, but being with Elizabeth is helping him heal. And heβs totally set on committing to Elizabeth until out of nowhere, Cece canβt go on with her wedding and declares that itβs because she wants to be with Schmidt, the exact opposite of what Schmidt has been told for months.
so all of a sudden, this option for his life that heβs finally let go of is back on the able and both women expect him to choose between them on the spot? You can tell by his face that he had absolutely no idea Cece felt this way about him or that he would ever have a chance with her again She completely disregards that he is in love with Elizabeth and assumes that heβll drop his relationship with Elizabeth immediately to be with her without talking about it.
And then after the wedding, nick and Jess completely abandon him, he has no one to talk to for this major decision. Cece expects him to immediately begin a committed relationship with her even though they were never in one pre-wedding and doesnβt seem to consider that he would need any time to process how sheβs hurt him or the (supposed) end of his very real relationship with Elizabeth. Yes he was in the wrong to dupe them both, but he was put on the spot so suddenly, there was no right answer, and he feels so badly about himself that he canβt approach these situations rationally without help, and no one cares to help him.
Idk man, Schmidt gets a lot of flack for this love triangle
... keep reading on reddit β‘I've watched multiple episodes of other mystery shows that display Cece Moore solving cold cases that seasoned investigators could not solve for decades. All she used was DNA evidence found at the scene. She would enter it in to a DNA genealogy software and come up with a likely suspect. Even though there supposedly was only partial DNA found, maybe we could enlist her to do the same thing.
Donβt know if I spelled her name right, and Iβm not a parent BUT, anyone else though Pam and Jimβs choice for Ceceβs godparents was bad? Cece was still a baby and had just started daycare, and they decided to make their friends who they had kinda just met was weird. I would have preferred Michael as my kids godfather, what do you guys think?
Why was it so important for CeCeβs mom to be at her wedding with Schmidt but she wasnβt at the wedding with Shavrung? This is a plot hole that bothers me.
**This is not a hate post! More of an opinion/observation, I like all the main characters**
They are all very supportive of Cece, took her in as one of their own because of Jess, Coach and Winston basically fought to lend her money, and they were super supportive and helpful of Cece's Boys. Also, Nick gave her a job. These are just the ones I think off the top of my head. I feel like how the group has helped her, especially Schmidt, seems like she doesn't "repay" them equally. I believe in 50/50 friendships, not constantly but over time, and it doesn't seem exactly fair to me.
Obviously, she is supportive and cares about the gang as well, such as when she defended Schmidt to his high school. In my opinion, she reminds me a bit of Rachel from Friends, where they are both the attractive "new" member of the group (excluding Jess), and receive more from their friends than they give. Not sure if I'm really expressing what I mean properly, just that I don't see her spending as much time, doing as many things, or sacrificing as much, for either Nick, Schmidt, Jess, Winston or Coach, compared to what they have done for her. Maybe I am just forgetting some moments, so feel free to remind me!
Do you guys share this opinion? What are your thoughts? This doesn't really make me dislike Cece nor is it criticism of the writing/characters, just more of an observation. At most, it annoys me.
Edit: Thanks for the comments, I agree with all of you. Makes me appreciate Cece in a different way!
Is absolutely perfect. I love how they all make it work in that weird quirky way they always do, and then the actual wedding always makes me cry happy tears. It's one of those episodes where it's hard for me to tell if the actors are still in character or if they're genuinely reacting to what is a major event and milestone in a project they've been working with each other for a long time (especially when they have reaction shots to the douchebag jar).
I love that the real bond between Schmidt, Nick, Winston, and even Coach (spoiler!) comes across so organically and isn't forced or beaten to death, and I love that this is the beginning of Jess in a new place in her feelings.
And then the music at the wedding!!!! OMG!!!!!! And the vows!!!!!
He cheats on Elizabeth by dating Cece but each one doesnβt know about the other. Heβs making plans in the other room with Elizabeth while Cece is in the apartment after spending the night.
Then once it all gets brought to light Elizabeth and Cece are devastated and hurt, Schmidt still doesnβt own up and apologize. He blames everything on Nick and Jess for making him being honest. He swears if itβs the last thing he does he is going to get revenge and break them upβ¦.
My favorite one was in Chill Day In when they were beating the bread maker screaming βUSA USA-oh my god, I just realized someday Iβm gonna have to speak at my motherβs funeralβ¦. USA USA!β
