A list of puns related to "Cartesian Coordinate"
Essentially allows you to stream destiny 2 from the Nvidia servers to your phone. You don't even need a controller as it has on screen controls. The best bit is it's free, but you have to wait in a queue, which can vary in time. If you are like me and at the in-laws for the holidays, and are away from destiny 2 for a bit, this is a perfect way to get it before the roll changes. Hope this helps!

Does Accelerated Coils and Charge Time Masterwork stack? If not, which one is better?
I'm returning to Destiny after an extended break. I generally always used hand cannon/shotgun but since getting back I've been getting destroyed by fusions (in particular Xur's Main Ingredient, which I don't have since I wasn't playing then).
I've decided to give Fusions a go myself after finding what seems like a decent roll Cartesian Coordinate with the following:
Red Dot Micro / Hitmark IS
Liquid Coils / Projection Fuse
Under Pressure
High Impact Reserves
Handling Masterwork
According to DIM I should be using Liquid Coils. I also mostly see people talking about the benefits of Liquid Coils. I never see anyone talk about Projection Fuse, even though it adds +9 range (which, coming from a shotgun user, seems massive).
As I understand it, the main downside of fusions is their charge time, so I don't understand why I would make that even slower.
Can someone please explain this one to me? Is +5 impact actually a difference maker?
Also, will my Cartesian be able to compete with Xur's Main Ingredient or will I always be fighting an uphill battle against other fusion users?
I play on PC with M&K if that matters.
Hello DTG,
I am an avid fusion rifle user in pvp. While the meta may push the majority towards a shotgun or sniper, fusion rifles have always drawn me in like a moth to a flame. They're just so unique to Destiny and I love everything about them from the firing animation, the colorful burst of bolts and their ear-gasm inducing sounds.
I've been hearing about how good Zealot's Reward is over the last few weeks but I hadn't seen anyone elaborate on why exactly that is. I came back to the game a few seasons back and I had completely missed out on Garden of Salvation and because of my busy schedule I only just recently had the opportunity to run it and snag myself a Zealot's.
I immediately pulled up the current suite of rapid-fire fusion rifles in D2gunsmith.com to compare and a couple things immediately stood out to me.
The first was the recoil direction on Zealot's, Cartesian and Null.
Weapon | Base Recoil Direction | Counter Balance | Chambered Compensator + CB | Arrowhead Break + CB |
---|---|---|---|---|
Zealot's Reward | 49 | 64 | 74 | 94 |
Cartesian Coordinate | 52 | 67 | NA | NA |
Null Composure | 55 | 70 (Bad, don't run CB) | NA | NA |
As you can see, Zealot's starts off with the worst recoil direction which is good because a counter balance mod will bring it closer to vertical. Cartesian is a bit worse and even with a counter balance mod will pull harder to the left. Null starts off with 55 and so we don't want to run CB because that will mean we end with a 0 which is bad and will pull hard to the left. So leaving it at 55 is ideal for more vertical recoil yet as the total stat is lower it won't be as consistent.
The big difference here is Zealot's can roll Barrels where Cartesian gets sights/scopes and null is stuck with Fluted barrel. You can pick up 10 Recoil direction + 9 stability from Chambered Compensator or +30 recoil direction from Arrowhead break for a whopping 74/94 recoil direction respectively.
This is why in my opinion Zealot's feels so much better to shoot than the other two fusions. Cartesian can never feel as good and while null ends with a 5, it's overall Recoil stat is much lower so will never feel as consistent.
Check this great post I found by u/Crystic_Knight for more on the recoil direction stat: https://www.reddit.com/r/CruciblePlaybook/comments/a9rn3n/how_the_recoil_direction_stat_works/
There is a plus side for Cartesian Coordinate and that's the scopes it can roll with.

... keep reading on reddit β‘I have 3 cartesian coordinates with lead from gold and vorpal, however battery and masterwork are different and causing confusion.
liquid coils / projection fuse with charge time MW
accelerated coils / ionized battery with reload MW
banshee roll, accelerated coils / projection fuse with charge time MW
I thought having liquid coils and charge time would be ideal as it will do max damage along lower charge time, but is the banshee roll better?
Cleanshot Is/Red Dot MOA
Enhanced Battery/Ionized Battery
Feeding Frenzy
Vorpal Weapon
MW Charge time
I've got 2 Cartesian coordinates one has
High impact reserves and liquid coils
The other has vorpal with no liquid coils
Which would be better for pve? They both have feeding frenzy and a stability MW
This isnβt me telling everyone about it but how happy I am that I have it. I never had a god roll fusion rifle and now that Iβm finally running particle deconstruction the dps Iβm dealing just feels great. I finally feel like Iβm assisting in a big way. Just an appreciation post I guess :)
Hello all, I'm refreshing my algebra at the moment and wanted to make sure I was understanding something correctly.
I understand why the cartesian product R x R produces the coordinate space RΒ². But I'm having a little trouble with the question of what R x RΒ² would be. It seems to me that it would be the set of all (a, (b, c)) such that a β R and (b, c) β RΒ². And this produces something that is not actually a coordinate space, although there's a simple bijection that sends (a, [b, c]) β (a, b, c), which is RΒ³. And RΒ³ itself is directly represented by R x R x R. But R x RΒ² β RΒ³. Am I right here?
In other words, I just want to make sure that the cartesian product of R and RΒ² would be (x,y) pairs such that x β R and y β RΒ², with all y being themselves (a,b) pairs (because that's what RΒ² consists of). And if I am right, is there a name for a cartesian product like this, where the first set is individual values while the second set is coordinate pairs? Thank you!
I have an under pressure/high impact reserves roll with charge time masterwork. Iβm interested in using it for PvP, but I canβt seem to find any damage analysis or reviews that discuss whether masterworking the charge time will reduce the bolts to kill, etc. Can anyone comment or recommend a source?
Is it possible to get it from the tools of the splicer engram during season of the lost?
I've been sitting on 2 different Cartesian rolls for the last few weeks, and then I picked up the supposed PVE god roll Banshee sold on Tuesday, as well as the interesting roll he is selling now. The only thing is I'm trying to stay ahead of vault clutter so I can't keep them all. Are any of these standouts.
the PVE "god roll"
Cleanshot Is / Hitmark Is
Accelerated Coils / Projection Fuse
Lead from Gold
Vorpal Weapon
Charge Time Masterwork
the red headed step-child
Red Dot Micro / Red Dot 2 MOA
Accelerated Coils / Ionized Battery
Feeding Frenzy
Backup Plan
Charge Time Masterwork
the one with the PVP perks
Red Dot Micro / Cleanshot Is
Projection Fuse / Enhanced Battery
Under Pressure
High-Impact Reserves
Handling Masterwork
the one with a little of everything
Cleanshot Is / Hitmark Is
Liquid Coils / Projection Fuse
Hip-Fire Grip
Vorpal Weapon
Handling Masterwork
Roll #1. I don't need to explain this PVE one. It doesn't fit my PVE build but I feel like it is too strong in the current meta to dismantle.
For roll #2 I'm looking at it because of the charge time. My thoughts are that this could be a decent trash mob deleter. I'm not exactly sure which order the charge time buffs are applied, but I'm thinking with the base Charge Time, Accelerated Coils, the Masterwork, and Backup Plan proc'd the charge time is sub 400 MS. Feeding Frenzy is there because this will also be deleting your ammo at a decent rate, so I'm taking anything that will keep it full. If only it could roll with Subsistence.
So if roll #1 is the PVE god roll, I feel like #3 is the god roll for PVP. I might have preferred a different Masterwork; maybe range or charge time would allow it to be a more offensive weapon, but this works for shotgun counters and kill cleanup.
And lastly with roll #4 it rolls with a combination of perks. I believe it would be strongest in PVP and would fit a similar role as roll #3 with a little more versatility due to Vorpal Weapon against Supers (though I suspect it would be risky due to the range of fusions in general). Also I feel Hip-Fire Grip is an underrated perk.
I got one to drop with both Accelerated and Liquid Coils, with a charge rime MW. Is it better to run Liquid since I have the charge time to still fire faster and not lose out on as much damage, or go Accelerated for fastest possible DPS?
I guess itβs nice to be able to switch if needed depending on the encounter tooβ¦
Hi. this weapon doesnt even look anything good but recently I saw alot of people using this weapon with their 1k voices and alot of people recommended this for boss dmg, pve or even pvp against shotgun users. I am confused to be honest some suggest it with vorpal some do with high impact reserve some say swashbuckler. I want to use it for more than just boss killing (some normal enemies as well like yellow bars) but what is the real god roll for this weapon? will be thankful if you suggest for both pve and pvp. I also have all mods unlocked so dont worry about ammo economy (I want best dps)
Hit mark IS/Red Dot 2 MOA Enhanced/ionized battery Feeding frenzy Vorpal weapon Charge-time MW
Feeding frenzy/vorpal is my ideal roll, enhanced battery makes the mag size beefy. My friend said that a charge time MW ruins the damage output though. Is that true?
-Rapid fire frame.
-hit mark IS/red dot 2 MOA.
--ionized battery/ liquid coils.
-under pressure.
-vorpal weapon.
You were patient. You weren't the best looking gun, and you weren't the meta, but you sat in that vault since season of the Chosen. You knew one day I would pluck you from there with your feeding frenzy/Vorpal roll, and your patience was rewarded. You've amassed so much in less than a week of use. You weren't surprised, you weren't demure. You were unleashed, and you are beautiful.
I want to show that for 2 vectors x and x' we have
|x-x'| = r^{2} + r'^{2} - 2rr'cos(gamma)
where gamma is the angle between the two. I didn't use the law of cosines so I did it by brute force but got to this
cos(phi - phi')sin(theta)sin(theta')+cos(theta)cos(theta')
how can I simplify this to cos(gamma)? It's the very last step!
Ok I have way more of these then I can handle. Iβve tried them all in PvP (on Console) and just canβt seem to pick one. So Iβm looking for some advice/help!
[Cartesian Coordinate #1]
[Cartesian Coordinate #2]
[Cartesian Coordinate #3]
[Cartesian Coordinate #4]
[Cartesian Coordinate #5]
A rapid-fire fusion rifle that drops from the world loot pool (and a focused umbral engram) is now a DPS monster and a Crucible powerhouse. I can't think of a bigger glowup in Year 4 (we're not counting exotics).
I have this Cartesian Coordinate with the following:
β’ Cleanshot IS β’ Liquid Coils/Ionized Battery β’ Under Pressure β’ Vorpal Weapon β’ Range Masterwork
Iβve seen that having Accelerated Coils and a Charge-time Masterwork is the true play but grinding for these a while and this is the best one I got with Vorpal. So just wanna see if itβs worth it.
Edit: Thanks for all the clarification guys I really I appreciate it!
I have 2 Cartesian coordinates that are basically the exact same except for their 2nd column perk
Iβm not sure which to keep though. One one hand I feel the quick reload of slideways will help boost dps. But I guess at the same time lead from gold will help with ammo economy.
You can now run double specials / Triple Fusions with the God Roll Cartesian Coordinate that Banshee is currently selling. Go get it since it will be gone in a couple of days!
I've been running the Lead From Gold + Vorpal Weapon CC basically all season and just bought my copy of Banshee's roll simply because it's a 5/5 as everyone seems to agree.
Lead from Gold is so underrated and I also use it on my main Blinding 'Nades Ignition Code, shotguns and snipers. It lets you spec on Heavy ammo finding only, giving you better finding chances on both your Heavy and your LfG Special weapons.
The End Game PVE build you can run is:
Kn.: Arbalest - Anti-Barrier Intrinsic + Compounding Force so that you don't need to worry about matching Energy Shields.
En.: Banshee's Cartesian Coordinate Roll (LfG + VW) and a Major Spec mod
Hv.: Threaded Needle with Rapid Hit or Field Prep + Vorpal Weapon or Frenzy and a Major Spec or Boss Spec mod
or
Reeds Regret with Triple Tap or Clown Cartridge + Vorpal Weapon or Firing Line and a Major Spec or Boss Spec mod or Adept Big Ones Spec if you've got the Adept.
Paired with the following mods:
Particle Deconstruction - Dealing Damage to a combatant with a FR or LFR grants bonus damage with a FR or LFR against that combatant for a short duration. This effect stacks up to 5 times.
- Literally the main seasonal mod.
Unstoppable FRs - Aiming down FR and LFR sights loads a high-impact burst that stuns unshielded combatants. Strong against [Stagger] Unstoppable Champions.
- Unstoppable rounds for both your Energy and Heavy weapons.
LFR Ammo Finder - Increases your chance of finding ammo while you have a LFR equipped.
- Will work with both the Arbalest and your Heavy LFR giving you either green or purple bricks which in turn will also load a few rounds on your Cartesian!
Pro tip: If your heavy weapon is full of ammo, you will of course be unable to pick up a purple brick and thus will not get your extras for the CC. In this case I always fire 1 heavy shot, pick up the purple, fully load my Heavy again + get some ammo for my LfG weapon.
FR/LFR Scavenger - FRs/LFRs get bonus reserves when picking up ammo used by that FR.
- Bonus reserves for all 3 of your weapons.
LFR Dexterity mod for faster ready / stow speed for your Kinetic + Heavy weapons
LFR Loader for increased

I've seen some varying takes regarding the benefit of High Impact Reserves and then specifically the value of accelerated coils / liquid coils / particle repeater. Is there a specific perk set up that unlocks the value of High Impact Reserves with increasing consistency on one burst kills? Or should I just be looking to max stability or range?
The single roll I have with Under Pressure / High Impact Reserves has a choice between Accelerated Coils and Particle Repeater and I haven't really been able to find a solid answer as to which is best or if I should strictly be looking for Liquid Coils to pair with High Impact Reserves.
Enhanced battery/ accelerated coils Slideways Vorpal Handling MW
Ionized battery/ accelerated coils Lead from gold Vorpal Charge time MW
I've heard some conflicted opinions on the charge time MW and the battery perks, I've been using #1 but was curious if number 2 would be better despite the MW and battery?
While doing GM, got this roll
Accelerated coils/Slideways/Vorpal
Reload speed MW
Opinions !?
Option #1:
Option #2:
Option #3:
I already have #3 masterworked and I've been using it all season. I just recently got #1 and #2 in the last few days. They both seem like better choices, but I'm unsure which to invest in. Thoughts?
Can't get a Charge Time Masterwork for the life of me π Here's 3 with Vorpal out of 22 different Cartesians
