A list of puns related to "Brougham"
My partner and I have just inspected a property to purchase. We quite like it, however it backs on to Brougham (near the turn off to the Tannery) and the railway line (other side of the back fence). Can anyone who lives in this area comment on what the truck/rail noise is like during the night? I imagine the rail will be infrequent, but expect the trucks going to/from the port will run all night. Thanks

Turned this St. Vinnie's find back to as stock as I could get it. Could do little to nothing at my skill level, budget, and equipment level, about the shaved trim/handles and ride height, but I like it nonetheless.
Hi y'all, as the title says, I've been blessed enough to acquire a 1989 Brougham D'Elegance as my daily driver (hopefully for the rest of my life!).
Do y'all have any care/maintenance tips for someone who has never really had a need to take care of a car properly? The biggest thing that concerns me is the vinyl roof, I'm not sure what I should put on it or even if I should take it through the carwash?
I'm planning on researching this later, but thought I would reach out to the real Cadillac heads out in the world!
If you don't want to help me for my sake, help me for this beaut of a car's sake xD
Many thanks in advance and excited to now be in the Cadillac tribe!
Some of you may remember I had listed this for sale and decided to keep it based on good advice here. So, the rear end is nothing but rust, broken in spots. The bumper is essentially strapped on. Other than that, it's not in bad shape. I'm figuring the best way to fix this is to get a donor rig and either cut the rear end off and weld it (hired out - I don't weld), or start a frame up restoration - a bit tough both for my experience and free time. Does anyone have an idea of what range of vehicles could be a frame donor for this? Thanks in advance.
I have a 1979 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham 2 door notch with a smaller V8 that I listed on Craigslist. It runs great. I could drive it as is for years without issues. The Interior is fantastic, and with some minor work it could be restored... except it has one bigger issue, a rusted frame behind the rear wheels, would definitely need to be replaced. The bumper had to be reinforced to stay on. I asked $1200 on CL and I've got at least 20 people seriously interested in it. I mean, SERIOUSLY. What am I missing? Am I vastly underpricing this?
