A list of puns related to "Brampton, Ontario"
She got her bear, which she named Elizabeth, in 1997. Was purchased in Bramalea City Centre - there was a teddy bear store at the time. The bear also had a different dress - White with red hearts which she had unfortunately lost. If anyone has any information would be great! Elizabeth's fur is starting to come off and she is getting sad so anything helps!

I have a sister who has mental health problems and she decided to start breeding rats in our basement(in cages). This has caused my entire family ailments. My fathers thigh muscles ache severely, no scans or test have shown why. We all have constant headaches and my mother has fallen at least 5 times from dizziness. I am unable to breathe in the house so I was staying with my friend for 3 months. I had to return to my home and my symptoms have come back. The main symptom being massive fluid build-up in my lungs when trying to sleep. She won't listen to reason and the ONLY things that show up in google regarding rats in Brampton is rat and mice removal services and rules and regulation for scientific settings, mainly for genetically modified rats/mice. I've survived cancer twice and the chemo has negatively affected my lungs. My question is, what can be done. Is there rules, regulations, by-laws about rat breeding in the city of Brampton. I know you can breed them if your in extremely rural areas with acres of land but that is definitely not the case here. At one point she had about 300 rats in a 1 bedroom basement apartment, roughly 800sqft. They are in cages but I've found rat piss on my blanket and in my laundry basket on the top floor of the house. There is no reasoning with her and I'm at my last straw/breathe of life. Can anyone tell me the legal aspect of what is allowed and what isn't and who I can report this to?
She cares more about the rats then the health of her entire family. After nearly 8 months we have given her an ultimatum to either get rid of the rats by the end of this month or to leave this house completely. She says she'll leave. The problem is that she is on disability and can't afford to move anywhere effectively making her homeless. I'm not without emotions and I don't want that to happen to my sister, but at the same time, we are dying, likely due to the Hantavirus(unconfirmed). Please help because I don't want my sister to be homeless through the winter, but I know how stubborn she is and I can't find an amicable solution. Any advice is welcome. Thank you for listening to my rant!
Happy holidays everyone.
My partner is planning on moving up to Canada and continuing her transition. She isn't from the best state to transition so one of the big things for her moving up here is Canada being more open to trans people. I currently live in Brampton but I've heard amazing things about other parts of the GTA regarding trans acceptance. Is Brampton a good place to transition regarding clinics and trans safety or should we plan to move? I know there's a lot of young people here so I'm hoping she can find people that can relate to her and friends as well. Any other members of the LGBTQIA that live in Brampton? If so how's your experience been so far in this city? Would you stay or move?
Thanks
Edit: When i search up "Brampton Trans" all I get are results for public transport lol

Saw this thread in the /r/brampton sub the other day: https://np.reddit.com/r/Brampton/comments/pq1om1/can_we_just_treat_each_other_as_fellow_people
Reading through the comments was quite the eye opener. Desi's from Brampton is things really this bad there?
Some notable comments in that thread:
>"As a white dude I've had many people feel absolutely comfortable in confiding their racist thoughts to me. I'm talking complete strangers mind you."
"YES. I am from the states, and one thing that blew my mind was how eager white people are to share their racist thoughts with me, assuming that I'll agree. The awkward silence when I correct that assumption is delicious."
"Been in Brampton for roughly 17 years, you unfortunately get used to the racism after awhile. Especially within the high school system, itβs literal gang type behaviour when it comes to race"
"Nobody here has manners. Nobody follows social norms or gives basic courtesy. Nobody respects others property. People don't take care of their lawns and property. Traffic signs and common sense are ignored and you get yelled at for asserting your own rights. Etc etc The people here are much more rude, selfish and shitty compared to elsewhere. Sometimes Brampton feels like a lawless hell hole."
