Eldritch Bombardment Prerequisite: Eldritch Spear, Agonizing Blast, Lance of Lethargy, Grasp of Hadar, and Repelling Blast
The damage dice of Eldritch Blast increases to 1d12. Additionally, once per turn when you cast Eldritch Blast you can expend a spell slot and fire an additional number of projectiles equal to the level of the expended slot.
I know Eldritch Blast warlocks are already pretty strong, but I just thought an ultimate invocation to reward full blast builds would be cool. I’m not sure if the damage dice increase is needed, but considering the earliest you can get this is warlock level 12 after a heavy investment, I thought it would be fine. Thoughts and critiques?

The damage of your Eldritch Blast is increased to 1d12. Additionally, once per turn when you cast Eldritch Blast, you can expend a warlock spell slot to fire with overwhelming numbers at the cost of accuracy. You have (disadvantage or -5 to hit, not sure which yet) on attack rolls until the end of your turn, and you fire 6 additional projectiles.
It doesn’t matter who is going to vote for Trump, and who is going to vote for Bernie now that Yang is out. It doesn’t matter why they want to vote for whoever now that Yang is out. This is a place to support Yang, not criticizing people’s 2nd choice. Fuck the gatekeepers saying that if you don’t support a democrat nominee then you were never a true Yang supporter. That’s not how it’s supposed to be. It doesn’t matter if you’re left, right, independent, Yang was our choice and now that he’s done (for now) people can do whatever they want. Arguing with one another makes no fucking sense when at one time, you all supported Yang. You agreed on something which is amazing with how polarized politics are today. He really accomplished something great bringing people together even if he didn’t make it to the end. Yang was our number one and will be again in 2024 (hopefully), but it’s time to move onto our number two without making this sub a god damn war zone.

Recently finishing up Siege of Vraks, mulling the series over.
It appears like the precondition for that entire scenario had been that a ground based fortified site with Void Shield generators and ground based Laser Batteries with reach to engage ships in orbit are apparently capable of
a) winning any plausible shoot-out duel with an attacking fleet
and
b) are also capable of protecting a significant area around themselves, given that breaching even the outermost defensive line via orbital bombardment was not an option. The series didn't give specific measurements, but given the numbers involved and the maneuvers described, it would seem like at least 100 km radius around the Citadel was off limits to Imperial Navy as long as those laser defenses were operational.
Lexicanum has a rather broad estimate of 'they can drive away anything up to a Cruiser' - not mentioned is how many 'they' would be required and what exactly happens vs. anything larger than a Cruiser.

Brussels University hospital is doing a lung CT scan on all who enter, irrelevant of their complaints as a way to protect hospital staff. After their first 50 tests they found 5 suspected scans among asymptomatic patients. Covid tests all came back positive. Virologist says that this might be representative for entire population, with perhaps 10percent asymptomatic but infected.

edit: 'test all' is a reference to non-covid patients (cancer, pregnancies, broken legg), not nurses/doctors or visitors. All visitors have been banned for two weeks already. They were using CT scans for two weeks already on covid patients but because they now have excess CT capacity (no non-essential surgery taking place) they expanded this.
edit 2: Some more info from different newspaper Tested people were women giving birth and brain tumor surgery and other non related operations. 2 pregnant women had tested positive before giving birth using the CT scan. These women did not know they were sick. The radiologists are now very familiar with the telltale white spots in the lungs. They believe the initial white spots are due to the defensive mechanisms of the body and normally go away after a few days. In some cases however they become much worse.
They are working on AI techniques to more accurately diagnose these scans and the severity of the disease.
