A list of puns related to "Bengal Cat"
That is all.
My kitten is actually crazy.
It has no fear of ANYTHING, is very clingy, and used to be affectionate.
Lately it "play attacks" everything. Its tail, the furniture, me, the other cat.
Initially I was very happy after a positive introducing of the two cats in the household, and they've been tolerating each other.
My other cat is a mixed bengal, 25lbs, 3ft long, I know it's a controversial breed but I didn't purchase it I adopted it. It could instantly kill the kitten if it wanted to, its fangs are like an inch long
BUT ITS SCARED OF THE KITTEN
BECAUSE THE KITTEN IS CRAZY
It soars through the apartment like a murderous flying squirell, meows constantly in 35 different languages, already once escaped out the apartment upon which it jumped 6 ft in the air and attached itself to a ceiling.
I have had cats my whole life this fluffy creature is a demon
I love it though
But how do I calm this nightmare creature down? It was nice until it got comfortable, now it is manic 24/7
I used to google "how long is it normal for a cat to sleep" because it slept like 20hrs a day
I can't remember the last time this fluffy ball of energy slept
If I attached it to the electric grid it probably could power the city
It destroyed the christmas tree
What do I do
It has dozens of toys, a "toy box" where it can retrieve toys from, designated hiding places, two of everything to prevent tensions (litter box, hiding spots, food dishes). It does play with the toys. It's playing with a fluffy ball right now and is doing this ridiculous thing where it is cartwheeling in the air jumping where meowing, holding it in its mouth, and swatting at it
It broke most of its plastic toys so now it has fluffy ones
It broke its scratching post the first day I got it
Its like a 1 pound kitten
Is this normal
Does it need medication maybe? I have sedatives for the bengal because it is violent when scared (vet visits, large enough to cause serious injuries)
It knows how to open the firdge and seems to understand how doors work as it attacks doorknobs. Should I replace the lever doorknobs with round ones, do cats learn this sometimes?
I don't know what breed it is the adoption website said it was part mainecoon but it has short hair, so I thought maybe it was a housecat. But its fur recently is growing much longer and it seems to be changing colour in some spots
I'm used to cats being lazy and stupid
Will it last forever
Does anyone have advice
Bengals are extraordinarily loud too when they howl. Every night I put the kiddos to bed at 9, and then Asha will start howling her head off. She was a mother cat with kittens (that had been adopted) when I adopted her. I sort of wonder if she sees my kids as her kittens now. They are very bonded and play a lot together. Either that or sheβs mad that the door to their wing or the house is closed and she canβt get to them, or both.
My mother already has 2 adult cats (not bengal), and wants to buy 2 adult bengal cats and become a breeder. The problem is, this would all take place in a small studio apartment, in which she lives, and it's about 100 square feet. She is generally a very irrational and impulsive person, which has many times led her to bankruptcy, but I won't get into that. I need some advice on how to make her see that 100 square feet EDIT: 430 square feet studio apartment is NOT enough space for her plans, and present her with facts why it is a terrible idea. I don't really have a horse in this race, I just love animals, and feel like this would be bad for those cats. Any advice is welcome.
EDIT: I am so sorry guys, I messed up the conversion of square meters to square feet.
So it is actually 430 square feet, instead of a 100. But I still think it is too small.
I got a bengal cat because my friend had a really active and nice one, mine seems to be really shy and for some reason likes going inside of my couch, no not on it. Inside of it. He won't eat either (I got him a day ago if this helps) I just need some support on what I should do to get it to stop going into my couch and start eating.
My boyfriend and I are about to get a Bengal cat, we both look forward to our first kitten, we have never had cats before.
We both would like the kitten to consider us two as owners of him, doing research on the internet I saw that they are clingy cats, but the websites always talked about an owner never about βmore owners. So I wanted to ask for some advice on how to make the kitten listen and want to spend a lot of time with both of us.
also do you have any guide books to recommend? we really want to make her live in the best way possible!
I will appreciate any of your advice.
Hi, I was considering getting a Bengal kitten, but I wasn't sure whether this breed is right for me.
I want a cat that is playful and curious.
I work from home so I have time to spend around 30 mins - 1 hour throughout the day to play with them. Also have other family members in the house.
But I've heard that Bengals can be quite loud and aggressive. Would it knock stuff over at night / keep me up? How much playtime would they want? Are their activity levels unmanageable? Do Bengal kittens require constant supervision?
Ideally I would play with them once during midday (15-20 mins) and then in the evening (30-45 mins) and then, after their final meal, hope that they would go to sleep.
I've seen drivers with both dogs and cats. I've put allot of consideration into this they're small cats and seemingly are lower maintenance compared to a dog that needs lots of walking and to be let out every few hours has lots of enegery. So is this a bad idea? My girlfriend says it wouldn't be fair to the cat to keep it couped up like that. But the inside of full size tractor with a sleeper berth is larger then most people think. Basically lots of nooks and crannies to squeeze into. Plus I would set up a proper entertainment loop for her to keep her busy during the long hauls. Every single truck stop has cat and dog food. All that not to mention I only say out for 3 to 5 weeks at a shot then go home for a week or two. So kitty would have time both in and out the truck.
So question, comments, curiosities?
am i crazy for thinking detroit could pull off this upset against denver? maybe iβm being dramatic but that locker room with mcdc after that win had to be something spectacular, i really feel like theyβre gonna carry that energy and momentum into this game and denverβs not gonna see it coming. or am i just high on hopium?
My bengal likes to bite shoes between trips to his food bowl. Eats his food, goes for a shoe, comes back for more food. There was no stopping him except hiding them all in the closet and blocking the door. It's just the shoes he goes for. Is there a cat chew toy I can buy to satisfy his urge to bite/clean his teeth? Anyone else's bengal do this sort of thing?
My family has a 3.5 year old male un-neutered Persian exotic shorthair cat and recently (~1 week ago) also introduced a 6 month old female un-spayed (but she will soon be spayed) Bengal kitten to the house.
The Persian cat has been in our house its entire life, and is now acting really aggressive towards the new kitten. We have put a kind of fence between them, but the Persian cat is pouncing at the cage whenever the Bengal cat comes close to it. Any additional questions on how to get these 2 used to each other?
Also, neutering the Persian cat is not an option, I already spoke to my dad about it, and he is very against it.
Hi everyone! I currently have a female Bengal who is just over a year old. In January weβre getting her a female friend (hopefully they become friends) so she has a companion. We have a dog but whom she loves but he doesnβt really care to play with her.
Iβve heard things about females especially not getting along and wanted to know your experience? Iβm getting her from the same breeder; the mom of the new female was friends with my current cat when they were there. I plan to separate them and do all of that jazz, but Iβm a bit nervous since Iβve been hearing some horror stories!
Thanks!
Edit: put alone instead of along
Hello everyone. My family is moving to Mexico in a couple of months (from the U.S.), and iβll finally be able to have the opportunity to get a cat. Iβve decided to get a bengal cat, but I do have a few questions about them.
On average, how much are they worth?
Do they like to be held? From what iβve seen on this subreddit they seem to be very affectionate.
How can I figure out the cats personality?
and,
What toys should I get for them, like, do they have any special needs?
