A list of puns related to "Bangla"
Mine is : Madna Jele( with him as an image of fisherman, this was during 2013-14 time, when he was in jail and pg hospital and everything)
I am about to quit my full-time job in the city and I am more excited at the prospect of taking on the abundance of part-time labour gigs available.
Fuck the office, and fuck corporate jobs. I am a man goddammit and I want to feel like one. I'm not a soulless automaton that is programed to click buttons thousands of times a day and fake pleasantries to other people just so they give me money.
I feel like I am rotting away at this office. I sit infront of a computer and work 70-hour weeks. I would much rather be physically stimulated and work less days, which means less pay, than have to spend another second here.
Everyone views manual labour jobs as bottom-rung jobs for the poor and banglas, but I see it as an opportunity to create a work-life balance while also getting fit. No one wants these jobs, so I doubt I'll have a problem securing a couple of days every week. Just enough to pay my bills and save a little while I pursue my own passions.
Everytime I click on a natok, I see that same old love story shit natok is being played, where a guy talks to girl, and a guy talks a to girl, and a guy talks a to girl, and a guy talks a to girl, and a guy talks a to girl, and so on.
There is nothing unique about these natoks. If the natoks keep revolving around a guy talking to a girl about love, then I think it is safe to say that the natok industry is in its deathbed.
I love warfaze, aurthohin, artcell, indalo etc. but I also love shit like avijog and mahtim shakib songs. Need some song suggestions pls, give me anything I'll listen to it.
I came across this on the internet recently and while it's not bad, it's still not as catchy or lyrically as fun as the stuff made by stoic bliss back in 2007. If anyone knows of good Bangla rap I'd love to hear them.
Just seeing how strictly everything is being enforced, in light of the government coming out with stats today which confirm that Omicron is basically a Cold lol
We effectively are growing up in different cultures and is destined to cause a culture clash when the kids grow up and try to live in the same country?
Please comment your WhatsApp number. I really need a translation.
Thank you
Currently a fluent syhleti speaker in the UK, am able to read and write and can understand around 30-40% shuddo Bangla. Should I take a Bengali course or would just watching videos and reading? Is there anything different that shuddo bangla has such as sentence structure/order etc ?
I don't speak Bangla at all so I entirely rely on you all to get a genuine translation :)
" Defined by the weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period, climateβs complexity rules life on earth and its mechanics can be incredibly complex understanding climate opens the gate of geography and allows one to understand human population density, species distribution on earth, or the different realms of biogeography. Climate allows us to strive when the temperature, sunlight and rainfall are suited for agriculture. In its diversity, it gave birth to different type of clothes, architectures, cuisines and way of life across the world. It can be sweet and gentle but also wreak havoc on us, mercilessly: Climate change in history made mighty empires fall, people die of famine and rich cities vanish. The degree of technological advancement we may attain doesnβt matter, climate is and will always be something of uttermost importance. "
Please, try to use a normal way of speaking (not super formal, like the way normal people would speak, but no english terms either, or at least in a reasonable extent if necessary). And of course, not in latin script please. thank you very much
I will post the map here when it's done ! I'm impatient.
What's your opinion on Shuddho Vasha
Hi! My name is Bushra and I am the creator of bdsexeducation.com. I worked on this site this past year, collecting information, data, and translating it into Bangla. I realized this is was a very important need for our country and communities after following public rape cases in Bangladesh, and some personal stories I will likely open up about another time!
The site covers sex, consent, rape, sexual abuse definitions, ways to discuss sex education with kids, information on our reproductive health, STDs, LGBTQIA, and safe sex practices. I know Bangladeshi culture is fairly conservative, so I tried my best to keep the information clear, concise, and unbiased. Regardless of your religious views, sexual health affects each and every one of us and sex education is truly a public health issue.
How can we protect our children when we don't teach them the first thing about their bodies? How can we create a narrative where victims are not blamed for abuse and feel supported when they come forward? How can we prevent another case of Samiha Khan, or Nusrat Jahan Rafi?
Sex education may not end rape, or sexual abuse, but talking about these issues can empower survivors and help us better understand these issues. Please share this with your loved ones! The website is only in Bangla because I made this for Bangladeshis and Bangladeshis in other communities. There is a lot of information about sexual health in English, so I wanted to offer this information in our mother language.
If you have any feedback, please let me know! I am open to suggestions. Additionally, I created BangladeshSexEd@gmail.com for anyone who may have personal questions answered.
Thank you, all!
So I am currently in Dhaka right now, so I thought this might be a good opportunity to get some books in Bengali to learn from. What would you guys suggest?
Hi! I am Bengali, from New York. I want to learn Bangla so that I can talk with my family, and in the far future, teach English. Right now, my priority is to become a fluent speaker. They say that watching films in a foreign language can help with the learning, exposure, and accents. Any recommendations? I am already watching Meena. Thanks! :)
I have found most of the redditors in this sub basically studied from English medium institutions. As a Bangla medium kid who never met any EM kid (except online, and often I can't relate to their posts), I am curious how do EM students see Bangla medium students?

It's probably been posted many times before but I'm asking this again. Do you write/say Bengali or Bangla? I prefer Bangla/Bangali.

I won't lie after watching spider-verse and seeing the reaction black people felt seeing someone like them on the big screen reminded me of watching PIKU(2015)
as someone who has never set foot in Bangladesh, im very cut off from my culture. While I still live in a predominantly bengali neighbourhood, i don't know what its truly like.
because of my indian upbringing and my parents uncaring attitude towards culture, I can speak day to day bengali and have never watched any bengali movies before
piku was the first time i had ever seen someone "mainstream" like deepika padukone and amitabh bacchan speak bengali on the big screen. it was an odd moment for me because it was something i spoke at home? it was an incredible feeling.
not sure why im posting this here honestly, just trying to have a start i guess
thanks for taking the time !
