A list of puns related to "Baccalaureate"
im tired man ma ele jlede.
Has anyone received a post baccalaureate certificate in HIM? I have a Bachelor's degree in Community Health in 2013 and now I am interested in the HIM field. I was thinking about going back for my associates in HIT but a few people have advised against it so I'm starting to self study for medical coding and I am leaning towards getting my CPC next year through AAPC. I was also initially interested in health informatics and found a good online masters program that is affordable but seeing as that I don't have clinical experience I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get a job with the degree. So I was looking into getting my Master's in HIM. There is not that many online MS HIM programs that are accredited by CAHIIM. Total of 9. I need the program to be affordable (so most likely a public university), online, and I need it to be a great program of course.
Dakota State University
Davenport University
Slippery Rock University
Southwestern Oklahoma State University
Temple University
Texas State University
The College of St. Scholastica
University of Maryland Global Campus
University of Tennessee Health Science Center
Has anyone received their MS in HIM through any of these Universities online? If so how did you like the program? I was leaning towards Dakota State University or University of Maryland Global Campus. Although the words Global Campus makes me a little leery. UIC has a new MS in HIM program that will premier this fall but of course it's not accredited by CAHIIM yet and it's still expensive to me. My current job (non related to the health field) will help pay for school but I still want to limit the amount of loans that I take because I already have quite a lot.
I've just learned about the post baccalaureate HIM program but I don't know much about and wondered if that would be better for me so I can qualify for the RHIA exam. Has anyone received their post baccalaureate certificate in HIM?
I'm a sfu alumni with engineering major and business's minor. I was thinking to come back to school and was confused if I should go for a second degree or post baccalaureate diploma In economics ?
I completed my B.S. in Psychology in Fall 2020. However, Iβm looking in to SLP Post-Bacc programs.
Does anyone have recommendations for affordable online post-bacc SLP programs?
Iβm looking in to completing night school at University of Maryland for my post-bacc but it clashes with my work schedule. Affordability & convenience are my two biggest necessities.
Any help is so appreciated! Thanks.
As it says in the title: has anyone had experience with this program? I'm hoping that someone here who might have taken the program would answers/advice around applying, what your experience was etc.
I've been out uni for a few years now, but want to return to help with career development goals of mine. This program seems interesting to me in being a diploma that (per this page at least) is only a few semesters long, and accessible to students from other disciplines to supplement their studies. I completed a History and Poli Sci bachelors about 5 years ago at UOttawa - so not related to economics apart from some high level exposure around say development, political economy, etc. (but nothing an Econ Department will look at as credit/experience).
I reached out for some more info on admission requirements and whether students with non-econ backgrounds need to have other coursework done. Was given some copy-pasted info that says prospective students 'need exposure' to math, econ, or stats courses, and eventually was sent to this webpage that I somehow missed in my initial research, showing that I should indeed have completed such courses.
What I haven't gotten an answer to is whether they consider other experience applicants might have when applying (I'm assuming not), or whether I could take courses in advance of applying or worked into the program itself to meet the requirements? Not sure if anyone here knows the answer to this. Similarly, am also wondering if anyone had the experience of taking individual courses at Carleton or elsewhere to help secure an admission to a program like this?
I'm going on the assumption that I'm SOL or I'm looking in the wrong place, or will have to set my plans back by taking make up courses then applying for the post-bac (or possibly some other program). Willing to put in the work but it's kinda demoralizing to see how far I'll have to go... Not sure if there are other options out there I should consider. This seemed like one of the most accessible options available as I don't quite have the money or the time to take another full bachelor's that could set me up for other jobs or even graduate programs, but maybe I'm also being too optimistic about this post-bac diploma?
Thanks for reading if you've made it this far, any advice really is welcome
Hey you guys! I just got invited for an interview for a pre med post bacc that I applied to. My interview is next week and I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips/pointers please. This will be my first professional interview, so I am no expert when it comes to interviews. The interview will consist of a traditional interview and multiple mini interviews and I am super nervous because I have worked so hard for an interview that I don't want to mess this up. I just don't really know how to prepare for it. Thanks!
Hi! Have any of you applied with the IB predicted grades? I received an email saying that my application will be reviewed at July when the actual results come out. However, the website states that an early admission consideration will happen if the UEE is taken -- which I did take. Has anyone else encountered this? Thanks!
After reaching out to LSAC twice and failing to get any helpful answers...
Do law school reports show Baccalaureate Honors? Or is that something I have to put on my resume?
Since my school awards different types of honors like Dean's List, Departmental Honors, University Honors, Baccalaureate Honors, etc etc, I'm wondering if LSAC transcript summarization differentiates between any of these, or if it just says "Honors"
Thanks!
This means that EVERY senior and theyβre families are gonna see my artwork!!!!! They asked me because several teachers recommended me and Iβm so happy and excited and Iβm drawing it now and this possibility the best gift to get before graduation!!!
This is all. I was just excited and wanted to tell someone.
Hey all, I donβt know if this is the right place to post this, but here you go anyways.
I am planing to study βZahnmedizinβ in germany after getting my IB this July. My IB grade will be ~39 which translates to a 1.5 Abitur Note according to some online sources.
I also have the βdeutsches Sprachdiplom (level 2)β which means my german level is C1.
If you have any idea if these will be enough for the qualification process, do I need any other things, what unis are likely to accept a 1.5 grade for Zahnmedizin?
Thank you in advance!
Hello!
So I already have a bachelors in biochemistry and ended up in a medical lab. To advance to become an MLS Iβve decided to do our companyβs cohort program and get a post-baccalaureate certification in hematology through the university of North Dakota.
Has anyone done something similar while working? Any tips or advice on how to study for the ASCP hematology categorical exam?
(Before someone says I should do the full MLS programβ I already have experience in other areas and hematology is the most interesting to me. It is also more budget friendly as I already have a bachelors. I can also do the other areas through the same program if I end up wanting more.)
Got in a couple of days ago but it seems kind sir sketchy considering it's like 4k....
My daughter will be going into high school next year, and our local school offers the IB program as an option. Has anyone here had a child that went through this,, or gone through it themselves? Was it rewarding/fun? Did it help in giving their kid a good direction in life? Is the level of academic preparation as good or better as a conventional high school curriculum? I want her to be challenged, but I want the challenge to be more than just laying extra work on her.
ETA: Many thanks for the helpful feedback! My daughter's best subject is math, she also enjoys arts classes, she's less enthused about English and social sciences. It sounds like she wouldn't be a great fit since the school's IB program is one-size-fits-all. They have a presentation next week, I'll push her to at least listen to that but it sounds like she would do better focusing her energies elsewhere.
Hi! I am looking at gaining IB certification within my B.Ed and have some questions for anyone working as an IB (preferably DYP) teacher in Canada. What would be the advantage of gaining IB certification during the B.Ed vs. having an employer pay you to get it later? What do you like about teaching IB? What are the challenges? What advice would you give to someone just getting into it? Do you feel the IB greatly impacted your likelihood of getting a job? For reference my teachables will be DYP English and Social Sciences (my undergrad background is in philosophy so I hear I'll be thrown into teaching Theories of Knowledge). Did you start teaching IB locally, in a different province, or abroad? How easy has it been to have your experience transfer over through moves? Any general info / advice about teaching IB is welcomed!
I think that name actually informs of the organization's nature
Iβve been in the market for 7 years. Iβve worked multiple jobs, spent 6 years in the military, changed branches to the reserves, have two degrees and still get denied for lack of experience for every single job I apply for. This job market scares the hell out of me because I canβt do unpaid work, I have a family to take care of. Iβm not a teenager anymore who can go out and volunteer. Then thereβs the paradox of if I get a job to just to barely pay the bills Iβll be out of my field and have a resume gap for employers. This cycle just feels like itβs made for someone else. Where are the people with 2 to 10 years of experience at 25 years old? How can I have started working at 15?
anyone here completed the post baccalaureate diploma in computer science? If so, I have a couple questions, if you don't mind helping me out :)
when is the class sign up dates for PBDs? are we on the same schedule as first years? or after?
how did you make use of the times you couldn't get into the required courses? (i.e. taking a semester off cause you can't get into the classes you need)
when do you think is a good time to start looking at co-op options/work placements/internships?
whats the difference between the PBD and a second degree in CompSci at SFU?
Any advice will be very much appreciated!
I searched throuth the internet about this issue,
And I found the University of Georgia once had online post baccalaureate programs for classics but they indefinitely closed it.
Is there any other option?
