This is my first project scx24 RN30 Hilux hard body. There is a lot of work to be done, lengthening the box so that the wheel arches fit, mounting the carbon chassis, suspension, axles, transmissions and metal links. And of course new rims and tires
So I took the wing off of fawkes since it had to go in a box for some time and it takes up less space. I tried putting the wings back on, but the small orange beam pushed the yellow axle into the longer orange beam. Trailer that fits a truck tool box parallel to trailer axle?
Hello r/cars! I would have posted in a vehicle trailer sub if one existed, but this was the best sub I could think of for this question.
I want to know if a trailer exists with the only purpose being to hold a truck bed tool box?
I want something similar, however instead of it fitting long ways, I want one that fits directly over the trailer axle from wheel to wheel.
Let me know if such a trailer, or if a tool utility trailer of similar size exists.

Hey y’all I’m looking into a new bike 2018 yamaha mt07, it’s used going for $6.4k and has 8.2k miles and been modified. Woodcraft rear seats, ask shorty levers, sliders and axle sliders all the way around, TOCE racing full pipe, flashed and tuned, Dynojet 5, big k&n air box. Is it a good price?
Bumpstops could be an inch shorter, but 32s fit, mostly. Changing the MC to rear axle brake line today, it rotted out, high speed vented brake tubes anyone? So far I have had to convince the air box bolts to come out, and letting the rear flare nut soak right now. This is fun right?

Build is almost done. Took it down to the scale. Weighing in at 1140 lbs on the axle and 98 lbs on the tongue. Tongue weight will go up after a box is installed. Time to sand and paint.
First time I have a piece error inside a brand new box. For set 75810 I was missing 1 light grey corner slope piece, but I got an extra dark grey axle piece that isn’t even used in the set.
7.3L Powerstroke dump bed. Just got brought in on trade... Drop axle just holds spare tires. Tree fell on a box van, they turned it into a dump bed and welded a cut van onto the back of the cab. The back seat leg room, is legendary.

Is the 4wd solid axle and ifs power steering PUMP the same, or is it different like the steering box? I.e. what other components do I have to change when doing the switch to the ifs style box?
A fully stocked tool box pays off... Hub sheared away from the axle flange after the forward brake locked up. Somehow the flange is in good shape. Probably going to replace the axle anyway just to be safe. reddit.com/gallery/n9jnr6

Update to my CV axle. Stupid me didn’t think it at ALL odd when the box arrived with obvious damage. Stupid me happily followed all the (excellent) advice given and removed my worn out CV axle, only to discover... the new one was damaged during shipping. Now I have no car. Carquest CV axle-- could it be bad out of the box?
Put in new cv axles, and with the new one installed I am getting muted clicks on light bumps, and more importantly, a pronounced shimmy when accelerating hard, particularly up hills.
I can't detect any suspension play.
Could the new cv axle have a sloppy joint? Thinking LF because that's where the noise seems to come from.

Getting ready to put my front axle back in and I get out the Omix hubs I ordered months ago from Morris 4x4 and go to put them on, and they are 30 spline and for a way bigger axle. Drivetrain in a box. Its a flat 8 piston motor, with a high/low gear transmission under it, and a forwards/reverse switcher that pivots in order to attach a driveshaft to the rear axle. Added a couple storage pieces, crawlin’ on a budget! The box fits 2 axles and all the tools necessary to replace them.

In an attempt to understand drawing a box consistently in 3D and in a way that looks like an actual box I developed a method that I think helps get the axle placement correct. If someone could take a look and tell me if the method is viable/if I should continue using I'd really appreciate it!
