A list of puns related to "Autoland"
Hello, rich high class social elite vision jet owner here. My passengers have found out about the autoland button and are talking about drugging me as a prank. I have confidence in the system so Iβm actually not completely worried about the safety of all this, I just want to log PIC for some dumb reason like giving up my 400K a year job to get paid 50K to sling gear and gets snacks ice and coffee.
Long story short, can I still log PIC when passed out? What about if Iβm removed from my control seat?
Thanks, got a flight coming up so quick response is appreciated.

Instead they're in the hangar itself, meaning I basically need to fly nose down into the hangar to land. Yes, I'm crap. And, yes, I've only played for maybe 2 hours total.
So it's actually entirely possible it's my fault. Maybe I really need to try out my HOTAS that's been collecting dust...
I tend to throw together lots of jank decks so I use suggested lands a lot and then go back and change them around later if I actually like the deck and tune it a bit. Noticed I was getting mana screwed a lot in brawl since thatβs all I really played yesterday. Went to tweak and I found my land count was absurdly low. It looks like it only suggests 34 which is the equivalent of running about 21 in a normal 60 card deck.
Itβs been a while since I brewed 99 card piles but if memory serves you probably want somewhere between 36-44 depending on the deck composition. Like usual you can run less in decks with low CMC, more ramp and/or more mana rocks.
I noticed several of my opponents getting mana screwed as well so hopefully this helps some people out.
Edit: Lots of good discussion in the comments. As I mentioned, it is going to be dependent on your deck: seems like 40+ lands is on the high end, but 34 is still very low. Just for reference even the AFR EDH precons have 38 lands minimum with something like 4 mana rocks and these are considered more casual like the brawl format in general. Just some stuff to keep in mind while you try things out. Happy brawling!
I was flying from PHX to Tucson in the Caravan. Had my ILS systems all ready and then turned on approach right when I needed to. Thought everything was fine, but all the sudden the game would keep throttle at a particular % without me asking. No matter what AI I turned off (or co pilot) it wouldn't change. Did something change or is this a bug?
https://youtu.be/RCEFW0-m3YY It's still in Alpha but it already has many features a complete product does.
According to the current feature list, the fidelity of this aircraft is approaching FF A320U, and even catching up to Toliss and FSLabs, both are mature add-ons now.
They also modeled Auto TCAS, a feature implementation in new software revisions among Airbus fleet. Only Toliss has modeled it in the A321 Neo.
As the title implies, mechjeb is bugging out for me. Whenever I turn on mechjeb to autoland my plane (cuz planes are super hard to fly without a joystick) it thinks the runway is >3Mm away...even though I am right by the runway..
Attached is a screenshot demonstrating this error.
Notice the distance to runway? KSP Florida center is Runway 27.
Any ideas on what is causing mechjeb to bug out like this? And more importantly, any fixes or alternatives I can use? I would like to use planes and make a shuttle in this RP-1 career, but not at the expense of a high death rate because of landing (without cheating and using emergency parachutes).

I recently just started learning autoland in the a320 and I've been reading around and watching videos but everything ive read and seen was from four to five months ago. and it was mainly problems with the plane landing too far to the left or right. but the problem im having is the plane literally likes to nose dive at the last second, causing the plane to bounce two or three times. Am i doing something wrong or should i blame the simulator?
You Could Hear an Autopilot Announcing its Intention to Land Notice Number: NOTC1667
Emergency Autoland Overview
Three aircraft have been certified with Emergency Autoland (EAL) systems in 2020: the Piper M600, the Daher TBM 940, and the Cirrus Vision Jet SF50.
EAL systems can perform an emergency landing in the event of suspected pilot incapacitation. When these systems are activated, the autopilot will begin to announce its intentions on air traffic frequencies. Hereβs what other pilots in the area should know about EAL systems.
EAL can be activated in three ways:
EAL senses erratic flying, stabilizes the aircraft, and checks for pilot responsiveness; if no input, EAL activates. Emergency Descent Mode (EDM) activates. After descending, EAL checks for pilot responsiveness; if no input, EAL activates. EAL can be manually activated by a pilot in distress or a passenger. EAL will squawk 7700 and broadcast a Mayday advisory on the aircraftβs last pilot-selected frequency and on Guard (121.5) as follows:
βMayday, Mayday, Mayday, November One Two Three Four (N1234), Emergency Autoland activated, standby for more information.β
Has anyone been able to have the autoland sucessfully flare smoothly? The plane enters flare mode but does not flare at all.
