A list of puns related to "Adam Buxton"
I loved the Adam and Joe show the first time round and it continues to be a great watch. A&J on 6music was always delightful. The Adam Buxton podcast is now probably my fave audio show. Dr. Buckles as Tim Messenger in Hot Fuzz and his appearance as one of the sons in Stardust always brings a smile to my face. On top of all his great work, he seems to be a genuinely good and lovely man. It's my opinion that Adam Buxton deserves more love and recognition from the Great British Public, but it does seem that he is very content.
...covering some new ground including his rhinoplasty (who knew?) and his outstanding Louis Theroux impersonation.
Link here.
He and Joe Cornish talk about their XFM radio show, and Adam tells a story about how Karl warned him that radio presenters who prepare too much "make people uncomfortable". It goes some way to explaining the shambolic nature of The Ricky Gervais Show.
Heya, had two tickets for Adam Buxton at Vicar Street since early 2020. The gig was pushed out and out through lock downs, finally itβs here and we canβt go.
Tickets cost β¬69.80, looking for β¬50 for the both of them or next best offer.
Can meet in town today. DM if interested.
I've got 2 tickets to see Adam Buxton at the Tyne Theatre tonight and I can't go any more. If anyone wants them hit me up, not arsed about getting my money back just don't want them to go to waste. They're e-tickets so no need to meet.
An interesting podcast with Georgia Pritchett who wrote on shows such as Succession, Veep & The Thick of It for anyone who is interested.

He gets very animated in this one, especially in the second half. Not surprising, given his ardor for the subject.

Because I love David Mitchell, I listened to an old episode of the Adam Buxton podcast this week.
At the end of the podcast, Adam mentioned Russian Doll.
His description of the show made it sound interesting, so I binge-watched it.
I loved it, of course.
Recorded in between shooting Travel Man in Lisbon
EP.24 - RICHARD AYOADE (TRAVEL MAN CONVERSATIONS 1)
EP.25 - RICHARD AYOADE (TRAVEL MAN CONVERSATIONS 2): Adam asks him about being a fan of Woody Allen given the controversy surrounding him. I've been really curious about his stance on this so I was happy they talked about it.
..can't find it anywhere.
I don't know whether many North American based MaxFunsters are aware of Adam Buxton, but he hosts one of the UK's top podcasts and has mentioned his love of Stop Podcasting Yourself a few times on his podcast- he brings it up as one of his favourite listens in this Guardian interview.
I'd recommend The Adam Buxton Podcast to any and all SPY fans too, any episodes with his old school-friends Louis Theroux and Joe Cornish are great, he regularly interviews interesting famous folk like Philip Pullman and Paul McCartney and Radiohead's Ed O'Brien and Jonny Greenwood and does a good line in funny interviews with UK comedians like Natasha Demetriou, Roisin Conaty, Ellie White and Joe Lycett.
Signed by thomoo and jonny, The helmet will be on ebay with other items he want to sell. he'll probably made a streaming telling histories about all items auction.
Sorry if repost.

When I first heard it in July, I thought, βWow, it would be nice to see it written out... Too bad about the time that it would take.β Well, it turns out that I hadnβt recognized it for the procrastination material that it truly was. So, with that perspective, I wrote this up last week. While working on it, I also learned that transcribing audio takes way more time than I thought. The guy who made them for Citizen Insane had a lot of dedication.
This transcription is truly verbatim. As in, it contains all of the stutters, false starts, and verbal tics that I noticed. Ed doesnβt speak in simple sentences very often... π
I was sort of at a loss as to where to host it. I ended up using Github, and it is not mobile-friendly at all, but oh well. I might do a couple more in the future.
