Yalta Conference stole my land
I just abandoned a France game, on historical, where I managed to hold off the Germans, push them back to Berlin and then took the German Empire as a Puppet (Napoleon path).
I joined the commintern for the war to mix it up, the Yalta event popped as usual (me having no say in it), and we beat Germany. I take all German land as a subject except for the most North Western state, which became East Germany under the allies.
Then I leave the commintern and begin my Borodino focus. Suddenly, West Germany grows to take 80% of Germany as per historical borders, leaving me with a tiny subject, which I spent all my manpower and 6 years to get.
Is Yalta bugged? As far as I've read it should only give cores for releasing in the peace deal, not randomly steal an entire world war peace conference (I had most participation).

Yalta Conference should make Poland a puppet of the Soviets if it isnβt a player
Was actually surprised that they didnβt add in a way to get Poland as a puppet in the post war peace deal

Yalta, Tehran, these conferences would not just decide the fate of ww2, but even the world after. But, more importantly, what was the catering like? What did the delegates eat?
At all of these big political meetings, I always wonder what people did for food. As someone with food allergies, that's always a top priority, especially in countries that use a lot of my allergies. Did everyone have Iranian cuisine? Did people chow down on borscht in Yalta?

How does Yalta Conference work?
Hello! Got a game in 1942 with the Yalta Conference event, after German Reich capitulated I clicked "Done" and waited for an event or something that would create east and west germany.
Nothing happened, I am wondering what is supposed to happen or if you need to setup east and west manually in the peace deal? Do you need to own all german territory for it to work?

What would a Yalta Conference 2.0 between the US and Russia today look like? What concessions could each side grant one another that would result in a deal acceptable to both powers and would bring about an end to hostilities?
I donβt anticipate such a conference leaving anyone particularly happy, the issues are too thorny and there is too much invested in them on both sides. But letβs say at said conference, a treaty must be signed by Russia and the US before anyone can leave, and itβs terms adhered to by the letter. What concessions might each side be willing to offer the other in exchange for other concessions and a long lasting, amicable peace, if not a partnership?
There are many issues at stake, including Ukraine, Russian hacking, electoral interference in western governments, NATO, western sanctions, Nord Stream 2, Navalny, China, Syria, and more. A number of solutions of varying intensity are available to each side, depending on how much they value said issue, so with that in mind, what can they compromise on and/or trade with the ultimate goal of burying the hatchet and opening the door for partnership?

Because in Poland, even over 70 later βJaΕtaβ means betrayal, and people consider it as one of the darkest moments in our history.
