Fishing on an inland lake on an island this weekend with my daughter. This island generates lots of power via wind turbines. Anyway, We are on the lake and it gets rough and REALLY windy. Pretend to get mad and yell at the power station...

"Turn off the damn fans, I'm trying to fish over here and you are creating too much wind"...
groans ensue.....

A dad joke on the fly with my buddy

My buddy and I were texting a few days ago. He was complaining about the power at his place being out again (relevant, he’s lost power a few times already this winter season). Our exchange went like this:

Him: How about electricity? Wind storm knocked ours out around noon.

Me: No electricity? That’s not shocking.

I couldn’t help myself.

Proud of my punny haiku.

Saw this status on my friends Facebook page with a picture of his busted car window: "After yesterday's storm/flying treebranch. Awaiting the healing powers of the autoglass shaman. ". Someone else commented "if you put what you wrote into 3 lines, this makes a nice haiku"

I took that as a challenge. Here was the result:

Auto-glass shaman: The winds of change blew too hard. Can you heal my pane?
